Late comment but this saddens me since Carol was always my favorite female FNF character and Whitty is one of my favorite male FNF characters... The ship ended a long time ago but I'm still a little bit sad when I think about it... It was good while it lasted, but there's a saying that every good thing has an end, so all I can say is: RIP 💔

Yeah, it's based on the old Canon. But currently Whitty and Updike are in two separate universes and while Whitty no longer has a hunter, Updike ended up facing someone who truly only craves destruction. Said entity is called Enndamo and in SCP terms, calling it an Apollyon wouldn't be that big a stretch.
