Man, you dredged up some good and bad memories. I used to hate getting up hay when I was a kid. We only had square bales and had to pick them up by hand. I would have rather been doing something fun instead of that. Now, I look back to that time and wish I could do it again. My Dad is gone now, and I would love to be out there with him again. I don’t envy you in this heat!!! There is always something that goes wrong when starting to work in the hay field! I hauled hay behind some guys cutting for 2 years all summer before going in the Army. Then with my father-in-law for 30 years until he had them use a round baler. Good Times 🥵😁

Regen trying to save the atmosphere but then you have to let your tractor run an extra half hour doesn't make much sense does it

Yep. Not to mention it gets very hot and tractors spend a lot of time accumulating dry grass and seed etc while you’re using it. It’s important to keep them cleaned out but not much you can do when it decides to regen while you’re in the middle of a job.
