Y’all should do study hall like the last 30-45 minutes of practice. Because this pandemic not helping the kids that need that on hand learning. I’m glad I graduated back in 2013. Cause the way they have these kids going to school then switching to online learning and back to school. And hold on can we speak on Journie.. she’s picking up on those moves faster now. She’s still messing up but she corrects herself right after. She’s definitely growing 😍

After reading some of the comments, I know some feel that Faith’s convo should have been private but this is the REALITY of being a Student Athlete. I just want to encourage her and all of the girls by saying YOU GOT THIS! I believe in you. No need to be embarrassed or ashamed of anything, just put in the work, use your resources, don’t be afraid to ask for help, get those grades up, and we will celebrate with you when you do! 🎉 We are all rooting for you, ALL! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEE look at these grades and how school is a different why? I’m a senior and don’t have that many classes but I’m in a internship to help freshman and sophomores and seen it all. It is hard this year. They are going to need extra help. Honestly teacher do NOT put in grades. They are just as stressed as the rest of us and when these girls tell you they don’t put in grades and that it’s hard this year ITS HARD lol just this year take it easy on them please!!! Cause these teachers and tutors can’t help as much as they did before the pandemic so students really are on their on. Doing the assignments everyday is a struggle just keep that in mind. But I love y’all!

And another thing with the grades teachers just really don’t have time so they sometimes use their free time to change grades cause things are constantly changing in the school system with the pandemic and peoples personal. Saying your a student athlete or not these teachers still ain’t gonna have their backs because teachers are struggling themselves. So the only thing you can really say it “get it right the first time” which is insane cause this pandemic isn’t allowing that. I know this is a privilege to be on the team and I’ve been in cheer since the eighth grade to last year March the beginning of the pandemic so I understand both sides and when I help my 9th and 10th grade kids. I’m just saying please please pleaseeeee but considerate about grades

Btw since most people are working from home, teachers do need slacking as well, I had to message my professor about the grade on an assignment and 2 DAYS LATER I FINALLY SEE THE GRADE UPDATE. I swear Covid needs to go away and have everyone go into work cause obviously working from home is not only making us more lazy but also making things harder.

Girl one of my teachers assignments always auto grade to a 0 as soon as he give it and my grade went to a 35 I emailed him no response then when I said something in zoom he fixed everyone grade bc all our grades were in the 30’s

There was this time my grade was at a 74% in one of my classes. And my parents kept getting mad at me because I had a bad grade in that class. (And let me tell you: I DID THE ASSIGNMENTS!!) . So then I emailed my teacher with pictures showing her that I actually did the assignments and that’s when she turned my grade into a 100%. My teachers be slacking so bad. And they also be delaying to much. And they be making parents do the most for no reason.😔🤦🏽‍♀️😑

It's something about this school year. My girls who usually make straight A's or A,B & in BETA have been bringing home C's & F's almost this whole school year. They have mostly been in the school building so it has nothing to do with virtual. The oldest Diva hasn't had her phone the whole school yr almost because of them grades smh. I'm not even sure how they let her cheer & play basketball with her grades. I'm praying for a better school yr next yr.

Y'all should get with some of the older viewers that's in the greensboro area and have a study day before practice if you don't feel comfortable doing that have the seniors help the juniors and each other, everyone is struggling this year with everything going on it's hard.I work with elementary school kids in a daycare and they go to school everyday except Wednesday one of my challenges is my children not bringing their materials (books, tablets,chargers, laptops school supplies),I've heard a few teachers tell the whole class that some people won't pass, I've had so much tears and frustration this year

I get working from home is hard trust me I’m in college and I’ve been STRUGGLING especially now since it’s term papers and exams for 3 weeks, I’m not even working at the moment or have a physical sport so I may have it a tiny bit easier but trust me when I say I STRUGGLE to get through it I struggleeeeeeee😂 but trust me if you need help ask for it, ask multiple people for help, you may break down and cry it’s okay let out all the frustration and stress, if you need to do research Google is a great way to also get help. Overall Faith I know how it feels to slack and just give up but once you get through it and you see your grades to A’s B’ maybe even C+ you will feel accomplished..like winning a trophy for the team.

After watching this video to its entirety, I agree 100% with the coaches to be on the cheerleaders with their academics. Pushing them for good grades is great and having the girls that struggle in their grades to bring their homework to practice is a bonus. Their grades need to up. Faith is my favorite and I’m hoping she will get her grades up.

Well 9x outta 10 it be the teachers’ fault too because for example they’ll give out a quiz and if you fail that quiz then they automatically put in the D or F in the grade book but’ll take years to put in the A’s and B’s so y’all gotta look at it the kids’ perspective too not just the teachers
