Clinton from C&C Equipment showed in a recent video why it's important to top off your fuel tank when you're done for the day. The air in the empty space condenses on the metal and rusts the tanks. And that's also how water gets into the fuel. Just found it interesting and probably explains why Chris always tops his tanks off when he's done for the day.

It still amazing how much dirt you move with the equipment that you have! I remember when I was 6 years old and help my dad turn over the dirt in our 100' x 80' backyard using a pitchfork in the late 1950s. Total lot size was 200' x 80'. In the middle 1960s he bought a rototiller and I got to do the whole backyard by myself. It would be a 5 minute job with your small excavator ... 🤣🤣🤣

One thing among many that impresses me about Chris is that he wears true hearing protection when he's using an open dozer. To many dozer operators think foam ear plugs are enough. Nope, those are for low impact hearing protection. I wore foam plugs under my Coast Guard helmet with oam surrounded speaker pads over my ears and I still have some moderate hearing loss. He sure did clean up that valley. It's going to grow nice thick green grass like crazy.

I worked in a welding shop in the 1970s. Welders loved to bang on 8in to 16in pipe with hammers. Also, unmuffled 1,00hp engines test run didn't do my hearing much good either.

I had our 10 acres planted pines clear cut a 2 years ago. I rented a Hitachi 225 and deere 550lpg. 4 weeks later I completed turning it into pasture. Filled in 2 big gulleys that was on the property with the trash that wouldn't burn. Built a 60x60 building pad. After everything was done I was happy to know I only missed 11 stumps. But I saved around 5k doing it myself than hiring it out. And an experience that I was well worth the stress and pain at the pump. All the videos I have watched u do gave me all the needed advice and techniques to make it turn out as good as it did. Thanks for sharing

The loggers in my area aren't much better. I had some pine cut in 2019, and I asked them to smooth out the ruts around the piles of trash from using the place as A deck. I wanted to get to the cedar trees they had knocked down or moved out of the way. Didn't happen. I had another crew to leave logs in the woods ready to drag to the deck to load, they aren't ever coming back. I don't blame you for keeping the tank full if it isn't going to be used for a while.

Clint always seems to have an 850J for sale... heater and AC...
