2k18 clearly has better player models. The textures seem higher resolution, the sweat looks better, facial animations are more believable, and Lives models look a tad too shiny, almost plastic. That being said, the jerseys in Live look absolutely incredible! The textures and shaders are on point and I haven't seen any video, but judging by the screens the cloth physics on the uniforms look hella nice. Bottom line, 2K18 is better overall, but both are very good. Put 2K's character models in Live's jerseys and you've got a new G.O.A.T.

The one thing I really like about Live is that for career mode you start at a 70 and is pretty easy to get to a 90 so when u play online there isn't a huge gap in which player is better, but instead 2k has us starting off at a 55 , which takes way longer to upgrade to a 90, and most of the time ppl buy vc to be good at the game

Heres the thing.. Live uses a lot of effect to make their players look pretty (light effect, sweat, freckles etc). 2K paid more attention to the actual player details by looking at each and every players signature facial expressions (when their mad, surprise, calm and collected, etc), and animating the face to emote those facial expressions so they come alive and look authentic. That is the main difference between these 2 games when it comes to player aesthetics.

Live looks more realistic, but 2K looks more like the players

Live go hard! 2K is ahead of course, because they've been doing it consistently whereas Live is just coming back pretty much. All in personal preference though.
