Behold another OTP of mine. And new show obsession.
I fell in love with GI Joe: Renegades after watching a few episodes; and of course I was rooting for Scarlett and Snake Eyes, always have rooted for them since... I don't even remember; I just always thought they were best together. And for the longest time, I had no idea their relationship was canon in the comic books and when I found out it made me a happy lady! :D
The video has no real story to it, I just wanted to reaaaallllyyy satisfy my obsession craving with an AMV of these two. And this song just seemed to fit them best as their relationship is not really over, even after all the stuff they have gone through. Somehow, in some way, they'll pull through.
I shortened the song because a lot of the editing and splicing took up a lot of clips; so I didn't have enough to make the whole song. I was also messing around with some more editing stuff. Sony Vegas is a fun program! XD

Scarlett does love him. She's been with him in the comics since 1982, so there's no reason to cry. The cartoons always dodge the Scarlett/Snake Eyes relationship because he can't talk, but Renegades came closer to getting their romance right than anyone else. You could see that she loved him when she gave Mindbender the codes for the MASS device when Baroness threatened to kill Snake Eyes by throwing him into the device. Mindbender also called Snake Eyes her "boyfriend."

Let me just say that I'm a fan of SE/SC, but Renegades didn't come close their romance since none was seen at all, having other characters just assume that there "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" doesn't count and your just guessing that she loved him in that episode. If she had the same reaction for another character, would that mean she loved that person too? I'm sorry but their relationship wasn't develop enough in Renegades to have a definite answer to that.

@@T-800I their relationship was developed enough in renegades to have an answer to that because if you’ve seen the show you can tell that Scarlett doesn’t let any guy get close to her in the physical aspect of it and is always hard on the males whenever they try to do something with her. Whenever snake eyes with around Scarlett always shows her vulnerable side to him and even gets worried whenever he’s in danger even though she knows that he can easily take care of himself.

I hope you read the comics and know how far Snake Eyes went for Scarlett. Renegades changed his origin around a lot. Snake Eyes and Scarlett were on a mission in the middle east when their helicopter malfunctioned and slammed into another helicopter. The door slid shut and trapped Scarlett in her harness. Everyone else bailed out, but Snake Eyes stayed behind to free Scarlett and took an explosion in his face. He then carried Scarlett out of the burning wreckage while he was still on fire.

No, it's a relationship and it's been one since 1982 when the comics were first published. Scarlett and Snake Eyes are the canocal couple of G.I. Joe, regardless of whether or not Hasbro has been dodging their relationship in the cartoons and movies.

@kirax10a The Duke/Scarlett thing only happened as a result of friction between Marvel Productions, which co-produced the 80's GI JOE cartoon, and Marvel Comics, which published the comic. Marvel Comics writer Jim Shooter stated that the head of Marvel Productions hated comics, and let Sunbow elbow between Marvel and the cartoon. Sunbow basically just rearranged what the comics did, but did not create or contribute anything. Only Snake Eyes & Scarlett are the canocal couple from the comics.

And the Rise Of Cobra movie was not canon, was panned by every critic and GI Joe fan, and is a movie most people want to forget, which is why Retaliation has almost no one from that movie in it(although it was a mistake to not have Scarlett in Retaliation). Snake Eyes and Scarlett are the only couple.

They made a mistake by not including Scarlett in the sequel, but you can be sure that no one is ever gonna try that stupid Scarlett-Ripcord thing Stephen Sommers came up with ever again. I never watch "G.I. Joe:Renegades", but this was a pretty well done tribute. Scarlett and Snake Eyes romance was hardly ever acknowledged, but the animated series seems to have it down. In the words of 44excalibur, Scarlett and Snake Eyes 4-EVER!!!

@themunchkin28 I have no idea if they'll keep making it all I know is that the man was responsable for the way the characters looked ,he redesigned them to the way they now look ,there is a possibility that he wasn't the actual creator of these animations (all the drawing and colouring) but I highly doubt that as I can clearly see his style here.Maybe they will hire another guy who can immitate his style.Either way the man still lives on through his art ,and that is not easy to acomplish.

A new movie is coming out in July! I wish Hasbro would learn from past mistakes and Marvel's success and get better talent behind the camera. If it were up to me, I would have cast Katheryn Winnick, who played Lagertha on Vikings, as Scarlett because she is an accomplished martial artist with a third-degree black belt Taekwondo and a second-degree black belt in Karate. We'll have to wait and see if Hasbro, Henry Golding, and Samara Weaving can make a movie worth watching this time. - SO THE MOVIE WAS SHIT!!! Snake Eyes is the villain, NOT THE HERO! AND THEY SET HIM UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE! I don't even know why they did this. No one was asking for it, wrong time, wrong talent, and it'll die the silent death it deserves.

Yeah I know, I saw the trailer and I was like eh looks like they changed his character too much and doesn’t seem legit to snake eyes himself but I still watched the movie fully aware that it might disappoint and it certainly did. I mean snake eyes is great because he’s such a natural hero with great sense of honour and responsibility and loyalty and to give him the internal conflict that they did and to betray all of those people, it’s just something he wouldn’t do. It was very unfitting for the character and it was upsetting to say the least
