Idea? On the inside what about putting up dividers the length of the wood so when you stack it inside it will be neatly stacked? No falling or knocking down of stacks. You can always sell the smaller feed trailer and proceeds can help with future feed purchases. Checkerboard for the new goat's name:) Or Domino? Josh and his family are in my prayers every night. If you have a 1x4 use exterior wood glue, scab a 1x4 to the inside and bar clamp or c-clamp it overnight, good as new, that stuff is awesome and you will have it for future projects.

When you and if you go to the saw mill ask about the price of seconds. They are lumber that may not be quite straight or have a few to many knots in it to be sold as commercial building lumber. It is usually cheaper than the other lumber.
