Whatever strain of the flu went around this season, did the 3x appearance. I had it 3 times between Nov-Dec, and so did my boss, so did a friend in FL (I’m in UT). So you’re not alone Brittany!! ❤️❤️❤️ thankfully it only lasted a few days with my protocol (chicken soup, green juice, DayQuil every 6 hours, and NyQuil at night, sleep as much as you can). On the positive side, I bet we are all immune to this strain after fighting it 3 times in a row. It got less severe with each resurgence.

Your message synchronizes with the book Alice in wonderland, I'm reading currently! While she is falling down the hole, she realizes that the fall is greater than any fall she had before that, and within realizing that she see's that she can fall down the stairs or even fall off the roof of her house, and not even flinch and take it like a pro, because she faced much worse already! I am learning truly that healing is not linear, and rest is part of recovery. I struggled with perfectionist tendencies, getting upset if I didn't get something right the first time. I let go of the old version of me that these tendencies once served. I welcome the new version of me that has grace and compassion with myself and others.

8:01 Entering the New Year with no friends has reopened my abandonment wound. I thought I handled it last year in the fall when i was coming to terms with saying goodbye to the last friendship in my life because she showed her tru colors after 7yrs, but its flared up again.
