Very good review Dave.. I would disagree with the Sasquatch package. It’s just too expensive now. I originally wanted it, but went with Badlands non sas and standard package. I sold the 33” BFGs, and bought the 35” BFG, added the wider fender and a level package. Thousands cheaper, though your right with not getting the upgrade gearing. I really haven’t had any issues with the gearing, very capable.

Dave, Great Review as usual! The biggest thing I would fight you on would be the Sasquatch package. I just dont see the $5,240 value on a Badlands when it comes with the front/rear lockers and sway bar disconnect before putting on the Sasquatch package, so essentially you're paying Ford $5K for a 1" lift and ugly-ass rims and tires. My advice would be to lose the Sasquatch package and use that $5K+ for those custom 35" Rims and Tires you have been drooling over and have some $$$ leftover for that lift when you want to go bigger than 35" (cause if I remember correctly, you can run 35's on the Badlands suspension as is...minus crash bars). IMHO.

Gearing is one plus.. 4:64 to 4:70 is a noticeable ratio once you step up to a larger tire. Gear sets are expensive and finding someone to install is a nightmare. I personally like the wheels but totally understand that they may not work for everyone. Full skids while not the best is a nice feature as well.

Nice review Dave. I got a 2023, 2 Dr Badlands with 2.7 engine, high pkg and towing pkg, floor mats but no Sasquatch pkg. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks 😎

Its not just the wheels its the 2.7 liter and the 10 speed transmission can only get those together with the sasquatch as with the gearing

Wow! ... I paid $220 more for my '22 Badlands and it included the hardtop, Lux Pkg, leather trimmed seats, Sasquatch Pkg, Tow Pkg, and engine block heater... appears to be a huge price increase for the '24 model year.

At minute 3:00, all facts this is the best thing to do 👌🏽 Learned this with my Ranger Tremor, rarely take it out so the 33’s have been perfect for me

Loved the video. A good thing to touch on was the fact you COULD have had the 360 camera in the High package in the previous model year. Unfortunately they combined them into one. Phasing out a bit of the al la carte options.

Thanks for this video. I’m relocating from Los Angeles to Vegas and was looking to get an EV. A Tesla Y Performance is about $71000. Badlands is just under fully stocked. That seems to have everything a want in the Interior. Gdamn…. Decisions

If it wasn't so ugly, the Heritage Edition has actually been the best value, despite the lack of a sway bar disconnect.

There is no "value" build in 2024, and at $63k, Dave this definitely lacks value. If you believe that you will get the HOSS 3.0 steering rack on the Badlands, I have a sub-woofer credit to sell you. The last "value" Bronco was sold by Granger at $2k under invoice with Ford's price protection ($11k under MSRP in my case). The Sasquatch package makes 0 sense on the Badlands. The Sasquatch package button on the build and price for the Badlands does nothing more than confirm a low IQ. You are paying over $5,000 for essentially the same shocks (but with 1/2" of additional spring lift), larger (but shittier) tires, and a 5% reduction in final drive. Save the $5k for nicer rims and tires. The 2.3 engine is the better value as well. No, it's not as powerful as the 2.7, but if you want a "value build", the 2.3 is where it's at... And you can even spring for a hard top!
@deal492
@deal492 7 ай бұрын
You the original order holder did not save 11k under MSRP... You got it 2k under the ORIGINAL invoice at which you ordered it at.
@mpeugeot
@mpeugeot 7 ай бұрын
@@deal492 have receipts... MSRP was $51,270 and I paid $40,476 (exactly $10,794 under MSRP)... So, ignore the rounding error, that's $11k under MSRP. Maths are hard.
@deal492

@mpeugeot but the original MSRP, that you originally ordered it at. Was way below that... probably by 3500-5500 dollars less.
@mpeugeot
@mpeugeot 7 ай бұрын
@@deal492 not really, plus $2500 was for not being able to build the WildTrak I originally ordered. I have had 2 Bronco OBX 2.7 advanced 4x4 one with the lux package and one with the high package (otherwise nearly identical). I paid $48,770 for the 2021 lux package and it had an MSRP of $49,499; the 2023 was arguably $3k less than the equivalent 2021 Bronco (let's call it $46,500). I still paid $6k under 2021 MSRP (although I would have to check 2021 pricing to know for sure). Bottom line is that I recently sold it for over $49k and paid $40k... Seems like a $9k win anyway you slice it.
@mpeugeot
@mpeugeot 7 ай бұрын
@@deal492 the 2021 MSRP would have been $48,310 with delivery vs $51,270. So just about $3k of the $11k was price protection.
