BTW, a revenant is the ONLY ghost you cannot outrun. The other ghosts you can lose around a corner, because their AI doesn't really have much persistent memory. Or at least they used to do that.

Using squawk box in actual room where ghost spawns will yield the best results. Sometimes the spirit requires you to be alone to ask questions. Correct me if I am wrong, but, I have always been under the impression that when you smudge a area it calms down the spirit. So if you are trying to get it to be active... In the end, you do you.

The smudge stick stops the ghost from wandering. So its stuck in that room. Idk for how long tho.

@@DarkPikachuYTV That's true. It use to say on the board in truck if you needed to be alone or not. A recent update changed that mechanic to leave you guessing. In their newest video it still shows on board if the spirit requires to be alone. Guessing it's because they a playing something other than professional mode.

The crucifix prevents the ghost from hunting, you have to drop the crucifix in the ghosts spawn room, and if the ghost tries to begin a hunt near the crucifix it won't hunt and the crucifix will disappear. The crucifix has a certain effective radius,(3 meters I think) so you may need multiple to prevent a hunt if the ghost's room is large.

For future reference the ghost doesn't always respond with words with the spirit box. It also responds with action. For instance when meat said "show us you're here" the ghost started hunting right after. Perfect example.

if the ghost walks through the salt, check for footprints with the UV light. Footprints gives you the photo credit, not the disturbed salt.

Bring more cameras with you, and motion sensors and candles for the objectives. Have the person who dies the least (meaty lol) purchase so ur not wasting ur cash. In the end you'll end up with more cash than you can spend so I wouldn't worry about it.

No, you don't need to. Maybe alone for some ghosts, but you don't NEED to be in the room. It increases chances, but isn't necessary.
