Never known a farm with so many toppers haha, surprised that you still keep some of the machinery like the overhead bale squeeze and all the toppers when you could get decent money to use on other things but I guess it's a case of getting around to it.

Just a sum up because watched the 3 tours. We use some older implements and it works so we use it maintain it and use it! We use new tractors because being on spot but buying a dog's topper to do drive way wouldn't pay for itself ? We have same one as you but we can attach it offset to do council contract so tops the sides road while I hedge cut but not same time because they are controlled from different sides?

Out of interest, is it more cost effective to own the combine even though it's sitting there idle most of the year than it is to contract out the harvesting each year?
@Itsafarminglifeforme4 жыл бұрын
I think buying and selling the combine works out more cost effective but with the way farming is looking in the future, farms are going to be worse off financially and the machines are getting more expensive every time we may switch to hiring. 👍

The combine is 2WD, there is NO hydraulic mechanical assist drive to the rear wheels?? Have not watched long, you do not grow corn? Your combine is strictly for small grain?

He says you tube and he likes get New ones but has 2 J. C. B like yours but one's bigger then other plus dozen green Trailors for harvesting and 5 or 6 bale Trailors. He said that he has K. V 7 mounted plough and that's all I know really.
