I think she is referring to the fake love that people give u from being famous and successful at that level. And Roses are dead because of the control the industry imposed on u. The industry will cut a Rose off and not allow it to grow anymore. Dali Lama once said something about a flower once. If u like a flower, u may pick it. Then it dies. If u love a flower, u nurture it, water it, and allow it to grow. The industry will stunt the growth of a Rose. Real love is the love that has been there from the beginning, love from her family,self love, and love from her 3 BP sisters who suffered through the training days with her.

Based from my understanding of that lines Roses are dead and Love is fake, that's what surrounds her in the higher place. Some may think that fame is glamour and sunshine and full of love but based from her experience, it's not. There's a lot of fake love around her and it's dark. ROSE - reflection of her current self as a succesfull artist, then ROSEANNE - reflection of kids bedroom/play room (symbolism of her childhood as Roseanne).. i think, it means no matter how big as a superstar as ROSE is right now, she’s still the same ROSEANNE inside, just like she used to when she was a kid

Roses are dead, love is dead is indeed a dark phrase. I think what they were trying to relay was that as they are getting successful with all that fame and glamour, they receive all those love and roses. But those roses no matter the size they receive eventually die in the end and some "love" they receive are fleeting considering that others only give them love just because they are successful and come a scandal or a hardship those "love" will eventually turn to hate which goes without saying that they weren't real at all, only fake love.
