My husband was the same height and body type as Jimin. I was only slightly shorter but for a female I'm considered tall. At a little over 5 ft 8 inches Jimin is actually slightly taller than the average male globally. I never thought of my late husband as short. But he also was a black belt in Korean martial arts like Jimin and had trouble gaining weight so he was always slender until his early 30s. Korean martial arts are very aerobic and require a lot of flexibility, so they tend to have strong but lean muscles instead of bulky like boxers or weight lifters. It does give you great thighs and butt though! With Jimin being a dancer this is even more true. Our metabolism tends to shift in our early to mid 30s though (I teach Anatomy & physiology)... so he might start to find it a little easier to bulk up now as seen in Are You Sure. Due to all the extreme dieting idols do beginning at a young age it can really alter their metabolism though so we will have to "weight" (jokes) and see. Personally I think what we have seen of Jimin in the military, I think he's looking fantastic and very healthy. JHope & Jin did as well. It is my hope that they continue to be healthy and not feel pressured to lose a lot of weight again.💜

Jimin often plays along as he likes to be funny. But at slightly over 5' 8" he's actually a little taller than the average male globally. It's funny because depending on the shoes, sometimes Jimin is taller than Suga.. You see this when they pretend not to see him. Suga is in front of him, pretending not to see him but he actually looks shorter than Jimin in the shot even though he's in front and should look taller. Even JHope had to go up on his votes to pretend he's looking over Jimin. Jimin does have a small frame though and that adds to him looking petite especially when he loses a lot of weight during touring or for promotions.

I tend to agree. After so many times of making fun of someone even if it's not done maliciously it can be taken to heart & you can end up believing what's being said which does lead to you being insecure. I also blame the company for not having faith in him. They wanted to remove him, they forced him to show his body on stage when he didn't want to, he was called fat & eventually it led to that terrible diet he went on which amounted to JK saying he would do the same if he didn't stop. All these things do mount up to have negative effects. ARMY today believe Jimin has an ED because of this which could not be farther than the truth. Jimin is a dancer who treats his body like a temple & when he says he's dieting it doesn't mean he's starving himself, it means he is cutting out all bad foods & eating extremely healthily. I do believe that they have now grown a lot & there are boundaries & limits that seem to be crossed less & I also believe that Jimin is one of the strongest & most secure persons. He has a vulnerable side that he accepts & shares with us, Jimin is 100% comfortable with himself but is always looking for ways to improve himself. He's simply amazing. Also, I suggest to not watch this channel, he really doesn't seem to care about the members. He earns almost 60k a year from this channel while not giving much content unless it's for his shipper fans.
