I've been into kpop for 15 Years and I 100% agree! So many leaders were put there because they were the eldest or their company just decided they'd be the leader. Most of them do care for their members, but it's obvious they were just elected leader. Whereas Chan, he takes that role very seriously, not just because he is the leader, but because he genuinely cares for the members and the group.

I really can't express how underrated Chan is as an actor, dancer, performer, singer and rapper. So many don't even consider him a rapper but forget that that's one of official positions he started with. And CB97 literally exists. Chan as a person is so severely underlooked sometimes cus people only see him as "a father of 7kids" or treat him like stray manager and often forget he's a member too. He really is so sweet, charming, intelligent and hardworking. I'm so grateful that he exists

I will sing Bang Chan’s praises for the rest of my days if I have to, this man has inspired me beyond words to want to be even a fraction of the person he has become. Even if we ignore the absolutely incredible stage talents he has, he is just one of the most genuine people I’ve ever seen. He is so self sacrificing, always putting those he loves ahead of himself, and you see it in the little things more, like how he’s always at the back or sides of the group so he can keep an eye on all of them, or how he rarely gives himself the big moments of songs preferring to let his kids shine instead. He works insane hours to desperately try to be enough for those around him and for stays, to the point where sometimes he needs to be reminded to take care of himself too. He has helped each of the members emotionally and physically throughout the years, helping each of them work on their weaknesses and come into their own, especially in this dominate tour where he helped each of them come up with a solo that shows something they’re less confident in showing. This man is just incredible, and he cares SO MUCH about everyone, even those of us who he’ll never meet. Best leader, best friend, best mentor. I really hope he is able to see that in himself one day as much as we can see it so clearly. Chan, you have such a large family behind you, and we’re not going anywhere 💕 Thank you Ben for all your stray kids and kpop content, you and your audience have shown me so much about the kinds of people I want to be around

Bang Chan is one of a kind. A lot of what Stray Kids now is without a doubt he has one of the biggest contribution and the reason for it. His members trust and look up to him because they know that he will always be there for them. I always remember during 2 Kids show when I.N was ask what he would he do if Chan will suddenly leave and nowhere to be found, I.N without a second thought said that he is not worried cause Chan will never leave them behind I was so touch by that cause I know that the SKZ members know that Chan loves them and in return they love him back. Their bond with each other is also one of the reason of their success and it is because Chan created a beautiful atmosphere between them, no hierarchy, it doesn't matter if he is the oldest, he wants them to be comfortable with him and in that all members are comfortable with each other as well. Bang Chan is really the best leader.

I don’t understand how some people can say that other groups are 4th gen leaders, you may not like SKZ but that's 100% a fact that after BTS they're the most successful boy group and clearly 4th gen leaders. I get that people wants their fav groups to be on top but statistics are facts, SKZ ARE the leaders of 4th gen and the "GROUP" leading K-pop right now (without counting BTS that are not together for now). For example Ateez are also leading very well, they performed at Coachella which is huge and they deserves a lot, I love them but SKZ are always the headliners in every festival, they're nominated again at VMAs, they're in Deadpool's OST, they're literally climbing the moutain of success day by day so how people cannot say that they're 4th gen leaders? I'm not an Army but I know VERY WELL who BTS are and how famous and how much they paved the way, I don't need a dictionary, I know what BTS means 😂 so let's recognize Stray Kids success once and for all please. I don’t see other groups everywhere like I see Stray Kids, I know that in Korea groups like Seventeen are more famous but Stray Kids are famous everywhere that's also what change everything.
