Everybody hates on Blanton's these days because it's pricey and over-hunted...but it's still really damn good. I'm not surprised at all that it won out on this round.

Blantons is a solid bottle and it's more available and cheaper (in value) than most of these others. I think the hancock might be cheaper but is more rare.

Love your guys videos! Im sippin on Rhf (2016 barrel), blantons (2017 barrel), and etl (2018 barrel) right now and I def. get the dryness on rhf but the nose and flavor is amazing . Its really hard to pick a winner cause they are all fantastic!

Interesting result. HPR is the easiest to find in SW FL, it actually hits the shelf. Blanton's can be found if you are willing to continually ask for it. ETL and RHF I have never found other than at restaurant bars.

Chad, I also get grape off of some Buffalo Trace products. I cannot speak to the mash bill #2 and BTAC due to the fact that they are unfindable in OH. The strongest grape I ever got was Colonel EH Taylor that I had a pour of at a cigar bar in NKY.

Considering how friggin rare it is I think it’s priced just right, but that’s just me. They could easily add 20-30 dollars for its rarity but luckily they haven’t done that...yet. But it is quite delicious. Found a local bar that actually had some. I got some serious cinnamon notes on the finish. In the end, it’s worth it.

I agree. It’s a solid pour. Definitely overpriced at $90 where in at, but I can always get my hands on a bottle. There are just too many great ones around $50 or $60 right now to stock up on Blantons for me. I’d probably go with Booker’s most of the time over it

Hi Chad and Sara! I’m new to the channel and I’ve been exploring new bourbons to try to narrow my preferences based on your reviews. The two that I really enjoy and have stood out to me are Four Roses Single Barrel and Blanton’s Single Barrel because of the “explosion” of flavors that I get, for a lack of a better way to describe it. Does this make me a single barrel guy? If so, what should I try next? I was thinking Knob Creek SB. Thank you for the awesome content!

Hello lovely people I have never heard of Rock Wood Farms and Hancock’s and I also didn’t found on “Buffalo Trace” website. Are they both independent bottlers who take whisky from Buffalo Trace and bottle with their own name ? OR Are they product of Buffalo Trace itself, if yes than why they are not on Buffalo Trace website. Really looking forward from hearing with you.

My friends and I did a tasting of 10 bourbons a few weeks ago and Blantons came in 2nd only behind Bookers Country Ham. Beating out Noah's Mill, Kentucky Owl, Yellowstone and some other great whiskeys. So, I'm not surprised. Great Whiskey can have a lot of hype AND come in a pretty bottle.
