Love this! Always great to learn about new and lesser known distilleries. Hope you can feature them every now and again. Only downside is they are not always available where I am.

For someone who lives in the Intermountain West, this was actually really cool. We can't just up and get back there for these kinds of things so, thanks!

I normally don't buy whiskey just based on the label, but dammit all if Filmland Spirits didn't get me to change my mind! I LOVE the artwork, the stories, the thought that has gone into producing their spirits, so I just had to do it! It also helps that the whiskey is pretty darn good too.

That one bagpipe player at a bourbon festival reminds me of people that dress up as Spock at a Star Wars convention

Great to see Amine and Old Louisville represented here! Great stuff coming from there and each bottle I’ve gotten so far has been distinct and unique!

I'm always happy to hear about more BOURBON in the world. Plus it was nice to see some familiar names that I already have on my shelf. I also realized, that if anyone put a microphone like the one you were using towards me... I'd try to bite it. 😅

Could one of you awesome people remind me what the company name is for the bourbon barrel wedding rings Chad got four years ago? (I can’t find the old video he showed them.

Seems like some places are focusing more on their gimmicks and not really what makes a good bourbon...

I decided to look thru the comments iso pretty much this comment. Honestly, I’m just getting disgusted with it all. Straight marketing and hipster bs. Makes me wanna just sip some JW Dant and be done with all the rigamarole.

Pau Pau’s birthday bourbon was the worst whiskey I ever had. I would usually keep this to myself but they told me that they would only open a bottle of Hidden Barn if I agreed to buy that entire bottle if I liked it. Besides that encounter- the rest of the festival was incredible and I’d love to return.

Lots of very late newcomers into bourbon having to compete with already well known and established craft distillers. Not to mention the legacy distillers. There’s gonna be a brutal shakeout in the coming years and half these newbies will be forced to close their doors.
