At a local store last week I found an ECBP A122 so I grabbed it since I missed it early this year. Also I have to agree with Chad. The rules at the beginning said no once a year releases. That being the case, ECBP is much more available. Sorry. Great video!

Backing up Chad on the ECBP. In my state, it's in every store when it's released. The only thing that limits its availability is when the taters pounce on it.

Good stuff. Looking forward to more episodes. Still shiver when I hear Old Crow (as a Brother in the Alpha Chi Rho aka Crow fraternity, all of our Brothers events had Old Crow involved). Anyway, this series could go on forever, but a cool idea would be whiskeys from micro breweries as many are crossing over. Old Potrero (Anchor Steam) was probably the first, but add in Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey, Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, etc. and it gets interesting. Granted some of these are probably very regional and may be hard to get.

I found the EC BP A123 last week. Looking forward to crack open. Also found and bought EC BP B522 and Larceny BP C922. Still have not found Larceny BP A123. Love your blinds.

Love this series! I'd keep going with as many distilleries as you can. From Kentucky, you still have Barton if you separate them from bt, peerless, rabbit hole, willet (lots of trash in their lower lines), new riff, lux row, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. Would also love to see you all hit whatever out of state larger distilleries you can, meaning you can find/taste 5 options. Examples - JD, Dickel, Squibb Juice (prob stick to their private label 8 sand, Remus, etc), Sagamore, Frey Ranch, Wyoming, Woodinville, Redwood Empire, high west, and +20 I'm missing.

ECBP counts because alot of stores do barrel picks so even though they aren't 12 yrs they're still Barrel Proofs which occur more than the regular 3 offerings

I’m with Sara, ECBP is a limited release. Chad is stretching the truth when he says it is “readily available.” It is readily available on secondary but not in my state/territory.

Excellent video I love wilderness trail but I feel like the 6yr is a bit disappointing and the best stuff they put out is the cask strength picks of any variety. Just grabbed a 5.5yr cask rye pick that’s amazing

I like the Woodford wheat whiskey. But a also like the malt. I like wheated bourbon in general.

I think the Yellow vs Black of the Wilderness Trail labels is mostly to distinguish the Single Barrel vs Small Batch even though it does also coincide with the wheat vs rye mashbill. As for the 6yr, I haven't had the wheat version but I absolutely love the rye version!

Does there seem to be any differences between Glencairns and Copitas when it comes to affecting flavor profile? Also, I can find ECBP on the shelf. Maybe one bottle of a single release per year and price gouged to 3 times MSRP. I don’t think it should count here.

Each vessel brings a little difference experience, but I would say Copitas and Glencairns are pretty close in theirs. I hear what you’re saying about the ECBP, it’s been a popular thought here in the comments. But I guess I see “limited” and “hard to find because of popularity” to be different things. BTAC would be in both of those categories but ECBP has 3 batches released through out the year. You might not find all 3, or even 2 of them, but you have a decent chance of coming across one, and even if you don’t, I think it’s because of popularity, not the scarcity of their releases.

Ecbp is way easier to find in my area then Henry mckenna. I see 1-3 bottles of mckenna a year… when Ecbp is on the shelf it sits there available for about a month and and I can find in in 3-4 liquor stores within 30 min of me. Long way to say I accept Ecbp haha
