Appreciate your proper use of crescendo 😁 A really good point of ignorance is bliss. I know what I like from what I can find on the shelf. As a casual enthusiast I don’t know what I’m missing in bottles that are rare and cost hundreds.

Great review. I was able to try the HH17 a couple of times at restaurants, so there is hope - a lot of restaurants/bars should get this.

OK but my point is nobody is looking at this bottle at MSRP and thinking "hmm is it worth it?" -- they will fly off the shelf immediately at $300 or stores will have them marked all the way up. HH17 goes for $1100+. So, that's the question.

@@llamabones Hype will always raise the price over MSRP. Fomo will also do this. It is not worth the price at $1200. The $300 price is what the company says its worth, the time and one time release for that year also plays a part in the base price. Would I pay if I saw it at MSRP watching this informative video? No Why no? Because my bank account says so. What if a bar had it? 2 ounce pour for $45ish dollars for a taste. Thats as close as I'll get to this nectar.

I work for HH and A124 just doesn’t get the love it deserves. C9 is really good but I like the softer subtle fruit side of get from A1. C9 was bolder but A1 hits nice right before spring.

The ECBP A124 is a really nice pour! The age is not an issue for me:) store owner friend let me have it at cost for 55.00 The HH 17 or 18 is out of reach. Store owner friend has them for 1,300.00 and a 1,500.00 and my best price from him is 1,000.00 and 1,200.00 so not a chance:( Cheers!

I have the opportunity, thanks to a high lottery number to buy this at MSRP or Sam’s Tribute Whisky at MSRP, and can’t decide between the two, or just go value with my favorite Antique 107

Nice try on this video but I would be able to instantly tell which one is 18 years. Do a double blind, then I will believe it. No hate. Just keeping it real. I do like your vids.
