Nice insight. Ive never played this port but I do own the Genesis, and Sega cd version and they are quite enjoyable especially the Sega cd version. Pitfall is definitely a classic and this one definitely compliments the classic.

Yeah, no disrespect to the Mega CD version. It is a really good version of the game, easily the second best console port for me but the Jaguar version just feels like, "the whole package" so to speak.

2:54 Except, the Atari Jaguar version is missing the FMVs and extra levels found in the Sega CD version, and the frame rate isn’t quite as smooth as the Sega CD version. The only advantages the Jaguar version has is the saving feature and perhaps slightly more detailed graphics.

Let's be real, it was a lazy port running primarily off the motorola 6800 processor which was old as fuck at the time.Nice video subscribed.

Like this one. Not really a 64-bit showcase, but a good looking, well playing game nonetheless. I have this version and the Mega Drive version. Wish I had the strange 32X version, but it is a US exclusive.
