So true. English fans go to stadiums with the wrong mentality and come to see their team win so when their team doesn't win they're angry or unsupportive whereas Argentinians turn up to BOOST & ENCOURAGE their team.

@ I think the prices have a lot to do with it. When they are paying so much money, they go to the game wanting to see what they paid a lot of money for. I think in Argentina it’s not as expensive and it looked like also a lot of younger people in stands.

​@espben360 Argentina isn't as cheap to watch football as you think.. the face value of my tickets to watch Huracan vs Boca a was similar to a championship game in England... and dont forget 50% of the country is in poverty... football is just different in Argentina. The quality I saw wasn't so great... but the atmosphere and support is like nowhere else.

@@aidygooner Half of them have their backs towards the pitch 90min long and keep waving and singing no matter what happens on the pitch cause apparently they don't even care ... that's not passion for a club and/or football, but for waving flags and singing songs.

@@jacklacoste9026 I went to watch River Plate play Huracan about ten years ago, can't remember how much it cost as it is a long time ago but it included being picked up from our hotel and taken to eat somewhere before going to the stadium. What impressed me was how controlled entry to the ground was, with three checks, for tickets, a pat down for weapons then finally a breathaliser test for anyone who appeared to have overdone it on the alcohol. The ground was a bit past its best, I think it was built in the 70's for the World Cup, and it has since been improved massively, but the atmosphere was amazing even though it was about half full. Agree with you totally about football being different in Argentina, and that probably goes for all of South America, a totally different vibe and I love it.

Wow man the passion and fans are incredible fair play I’m so fucking jealous Josh! I thought we were passionate in Scotland but this is different gravy maybe apart from Celtic and rangers on a European night but also shout out to other Scottish clubs on European nights the atmosphere has been mad. I’m a Celtic fan and we have an Argentine called bernebei who couldn’t cut it in the splf he’s loaned out to the Brazilian serie a and is doing amazing and the club want to sign him for 8 mil so it’s mad that an Argentine coming from this can’t cut it at st mirren 😂

In no way can San Lorenzo be a better club than Estudiantes. The only big trophy they've ever won is a Libertadores Cup. Estudiantes has four of them (defeating much stronger teams), as well as one Intercontinental Cup, defeating no less than Manchester United.
