The choreo at the beginning of the match, with the number 2 jersey and the nickname Simi and the words "örökké velünk - Forever with us", pays tribute to the memory of a former legendary braveheart player Tibor Simon, who was killed in a vicious brutal showdown 20 years ago. His legendary relationship with the fans was based on friendship and respect. He wasn't the fastest or the most technical, but he always gave 100%. Everyone recognised the loyalty and love he represented for the club. He was a classic old school defender, terribly tough and unpleasant opponent. He played with a broken hand and shoulder. Team captain. A legend. He could still be alive today.

Really nice video, but please let me react from the away sector where I was Yesterday as an Újpest supporter. The end was a huge disapointment. When we finally scored our sector collabsed. The video can not show it but beleive me, it was an amazing celebration, approx. 5 beers landed on my jacket, but in that crazy moment nobody cared about that. What an amazing moment it was. And the fckg VAR. If you see football, in case there is a hand or an offside, defenders allways raise their hands to show there is something for the referee, but no one did it. That was a legitimate score, without any doubt. We were so sad to have this additional experience again, you can not win against them. It would be a commemoration of the famous and popular leader of us, Szőke. He has been a fanatic supporter of Újpest, and many times he fighted against another hools, and he has got a huge respect in Hungarian stadiums (and abroad as well). That is the reason he got clapping from home fans, becouse nobody of them would stand against him on the streets. Sometimes we went away, and he moved in front of our hool team, I never felt fear. Just for his memory would it be a honour to give huge respect at the heaven. Injustice. If you enjoyed Budapest would be glad to welcome you again in the next season, among us in Újpest. We are so noisy and hard, trust me. :)

I admit I haven't watched the whole video just scrolled trough. I was only at 3 football matches around 10-15 years ago, all of them were at these derbys and this video seems nothing like how they were before. Just even coming out of the metro station was dangerous, we were thrown at glass bottles, rocks and what not. The ultras were fighting already before the match and even during, maybe at the end they broke trough the barrier and fought eachother
