I've literally had this shit happen to me!! Was hauling my friends roller 4hrs north. Decided to let my other friend that rode with, strap down the roller on the trailer. About a hr into being on the highway, the back half the car slid off the trailer and was dragging bumper. Trailer started swaying back and fourth, more and more as the car came off the trailer. Luckily I was able to control it and pull over before the last strap cam undone. Was definitely a wild experience

My dad was driving and the trailer became unhooked and he used his handy driving skills and pulled over while the trailer was disconnected, he maneuvered it carefully while on a freeway. handled the situation well, and it for sure could’ve been worse if it wasn’t handled right

Years ago before they started putting the wire fences in the interstate median a guy had a s10 come off a trailer on I20. It crossed into oncoming traffic and my old boss was coming from behind a wooded area and hit it head on at 70. Spent a couple days in the hospital. It was horrible.
