A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND MY CHANNEL
I’m local to Kansas City but grew up a military brat so travel is in my blood! I married my college sweetheart, Anthony, in 2015. We’re absolutely obsessed with our two fur babies Xander and Willow. (Any other Buffy fans?) Anthony and I knew early on in our relationship that we wanted to have kids as soon as possible. We’ve been fighting the uphill battle of infertility for 5+ years now. Here on my channel, you’ll see a lot of videos pertaining to our trying to conceive (TTC) journey.
Though infertility does not define us, it has been a life-altering thing to go through. We find that this taboo topic is something we want to shine a light on by sharing our raw and real emotions through it. A few other things you’ll see on my channel pertain to lifestyle and wellness. Whether that be mental wellness, physical wellness, and beyond. A few other fun facts about me, I love to binge-watch a good show, sipping on some delicious coffee, and I’m probably planning my next vacation.

Hudson is absolutely adorable! You guys are doing this parenting thing like pros! The newborn months are very monotonous, it’s mostly just figuring out what baby wants or needs lol, and you guys are doing great! Enjoy the moments of just sitting there watching tv with a sleeping newborn in your arms. I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old and they’re go go go all the time, I long for those moments lol.

This was absolutely a joy to watch! To see you both with him and how much you love him is so beautiful. It’s so awesome to witness this truly precious gift from God. My oldest daughter is 44 (gasp!), and while I may not remember what the heck I did yesterday, I remember clearly bringing her home from the hospital, and the joy and wonder of those early days. I’m watching this while nursing my 4.5 month old 🤗. It’s so interesting seeing other people’s routines and how they are different than yours. I haven’t found a reason to pump yet I and Haven’t used any bottles yet either. My daughter also never took to a pacifier 🤷🏼‍♀️

That black and white book will be great for tummy time when he's starting to be able to lift his head. I had one similar, and I would just stretch the whole thing out and stand it up kind of in a semi-circle and my daughter loved looking side to side at all the different pictures. It's also great to encourage not just the lifting of the head, but also moving the head side to side because it helps to smooth out any flat spots on the head. My son when he was a baby only liked to look to one side, which caused a flat spot on that side and we had a take him to physical therapy because of it. They told us to try to get him to look the opposite direction during tummy time to kind of pop out the dent so to speak.

How adorable! My only baby after trying for 10 years is now 3 years old and I still sit in the back with him. He likes it that way! 😜 When he was small I sat in the back all the time. They make a bottle steam container by munchkin or avent that you put in the microwave that you can reuse over and over instead of using the Medela bags. Might save you money in the future :)

My heart is full of happiness for you. But don't forget the struggle is still real for a lot of women..your story is not done. Yeah, life with a baby can be kind of boring, but then each day you realize theyre doing something new or theyve gotten bigger. Give him a couple weeks and he'll be smiling and your heart will be melting because he's doing it intentionally and you realize he recognizes you as his mom and that makes his whole world.

Is there a reason you decided to start pumping before he regulated your supply? My doctor was adamant not to pump before 6 weeks (besides the hakaa) so I'm just curious since recommendations are so different across providers!

So interesting! My doctor encouraged it, especially because I felt very strongly about Anthony being able to help with feeding him. I’ve had no issues with my supply being too much, or not enough

I started pumping the day i came home with my son. After a week my milk supply was amazing. After several months i had enough pumped to fill small deep freeze
