DEAR RAPPERS DESCRIPTION Tom and Nova both were completely broke the night that he wrote this song. They were facing eviction from their apartment that was infested with mice and roaches and also had no electricity because they couldn’t pay the bill. Tom sat out on the front stoop and lit his last half cigarette and typed these lyrics into his phone. He said it was like an Epiphany struck him after he finished writing it and that he got really excited and ran in the house and told Nova that he had just written the one that was going to change everything! They recorded the video that night after Tom recorded the vocals! The reason the video was so simplistic is because they only had one light which was hooked up to an extension cord plugged in to a neighbors house along with their fridge! Nova covered the bulb with red wax paper to give it the red tint! Tom said he borrowed a total of $1000 from five different people to pay for advertising of the video on Facebook and KZbin and it went viral in three days!! And the rest is history! This is the first song that changed him and novas life,theyvwere about to split had no power tom went out to smoke his last cigarette and when he came back in and told nova to get the camera and said i think our lives are about to change and they recorded this with a light plugged into their neighbors house because they couldn't pay their electricity bill and when they woke uo the next day this had millions of views and youtube sent them a big check,😊 and it did change their lives,they were going to call it quits that night when god gav3 him the lyrics,

I know you will enjoy the Journey that Tom will bring to you. I could not stop, till I saw/heard every video that he put out, once I found him.. There is another independent artists that has not hit your radar yet, Ren. He is also making waves in the music world, from the UK with his raping, singing, to his story telling (in a Shakespearian Bard format ) has a penmanship and lyrical apatite that will have you captivated. Ren's live one take videos are inspiring. Recommend "Hi Ren" , "The Hunger", "Animal Flow" , "The Tale of Jenney and Screech" (3 part version with Violet's tale). Ya gotta react to "Don't Look Down" and "Riot" because those are two of his flex songs. There are so many fire songs. This was when he and Nova were living in Crenshaw. Hmmm, Tom has so many diversions from the norm over the years. He did a diss battle with Mac Lethal which is kinda still going on after 5 years. But after that he swore not to do disses no more. So once every year or so he disses all the haters in a song. Don’t look down, No Response and God Mode.that last one brought Mac back out of the woodwork. Another great call and response was Whiteboy (and there is a vid about the filming of that vid) which he responded with This House. Which you should see before god mode. He also did a love song for his girl Nova called Ghost which gets regular radio play in some markets. Buttholes is a silly song you can play with kids around. Superman is a dark straight up folk song of impending doom. And I haven’t even started with the political rap, but I’ll end here cuz I ain’t got all night. Welcome to the #HOG fam
