These owners really put themselves out by having different schedules for the dogs. It good to see that they can at least walk them together without major issues. The trainer didn't just train the dogs. She taught the owners to recognize the signs of the problematic behavior and how to correct it. The situation has to be stressful for all involved. @gigi20_1683 жыл бұрын
Oh that really stinks😔 I don’t want to sound like a know-it-all, but if you don’t know this already, these are the three most effective ways of breaking up a dog fight. 1. Use liquid. Water breaks their concentration if you pour it over their heads. 2. Same thing happens with this one, throw an article of clothing or a towel over their heads. 3. This is kind of a last resort, but you can take your leash, hold each end of it in your hands, loop it under the dog’s back legs/hips, and pull backward.
@jindoissad89583 жыл бұрын
@@gigi20_168 I have more to add. These probably aren’t as effective but they work in a pinch. 1.I use a stick and either lightly tap the dogs with it so you can grab and remove a dog or if you can slip it into the attacking dogs mouth so it can’t bite. Then you can continue to remove the injured dog 2. So this one works less but it can still be effective. We have a pair of puppies and they are siblings. They’ll get in to a scuffle sometimes and we usually break up their fights by shouting their names which results in at least one dog running to their owner so we can easily separate them for a little bit. This probably only works on dogs with pretty good self control though. 3. If they’re little dogs like 2 chihuahuas just put on motorcycle gloves and pick them up lol.

So we'd have one hang out outside, the other inside, and to switch them out was quite the circus. Inside dog (A) would be put in a bedroom, outside dog (B) would be brought inside and put in the garage (the doors to both the backyard and the garage were attached to the kitchen), dog A would be taken from the bedroom and put outside, then dog B would be let in from the garage. It went on for years. It was sad when the father dog eventually passed away, but there was also a sense of relief, since there was no more risk of dog fights.

the one thing i love about this episode was that the owners actually put quit a bit of time and effort into their dog's i mean yes they screwed up isolating Olivia but they where trying their best

That the owner went out of his way and inconvenienced himself to keep his dogs safe from each other is really amazing & shows what a responsible person who loves his dogs looks like.

This is the first time I haven't despised the owners. They actually care about the dogs and changing their own behavior for the dogs benefits.

So refreshing to see responsible dog owners. They have really tried a lot to keep the family and pack together but it’s beyond their ability so they separate and seek professional help. Well done!! 🙏🙏❤️❤️🌺❤️❤️🙏🙏 and just look at that improvement!! AMAZING!!

I’ve had dogs all my life and have been around friends with dogs and the behavior of the dogs here is something I’ve very rarely seen. The times I have seen this is when I’m walking my dogs and come across a stray.

Compared to so many other people Victoria has trained, these guys take the cake with how much love they have and care they give. They really dedicated their time to their dogs to make sure they were happy within in their home. They don’t just live with us, our home is their home too. I love to see it

i absolutely LOVE how realistic V explained the future relationship for these two 🐶🐕. Yes it isn't perfect but the goal was to have less stress 😥 and a beter quality of life for the family 🐕👫🏼🐶 and omg she delivered and the owners were ON 🏅 POINT! I've never seen an episode where V had no corrections for the owners after her brief absence. I 💕 when V is able to bring out a side of a 🐕 that the owners haven't seen in a long time. ie the smiling face 💕😁💕 after the catch pole play.🎣
