I honestly have no idea if it does or not. I've always assumed shooting randomly can't hurt, so I just do it. Would love for armor piercing to have some consistency

Sometimes they spawn and might just do nothing for some time like you can see at 38:46 - and shooting and explosions alert enemies so it's supposed to "wake him up" and make him run to position of player. Whether this actually work (it seems like after 5th kill they just run to player instantly anyway) is unknown, but doesn't hurt either so might as well do it

Semtex blew up truck full of guys giving him a big multiplier then destroying the btr gives a lot of points. Between the 2 it gives you enough points to complete the level if timed properly

You get multipliers for multi-kills. By sticking semtex on a truck (full of soldiers) and firing RPG on the BTR80 you get such a high multiplier you win instantly

@@okay179 sure but what I mean is in a lot of speedruns the gameplay is unrecognizable because all they're doing is glitching out of the map and skipping things and whatnot. There's still skilled gameplay happening here

@@eterniturtle usually using glitches is still skill based gameplay with tons of memorizing for skip setups. There is a reason why there are different categories in speedruns though. I see why people dislike major glitches and out of bounds but everybody must remember that gaming is about fun. Each category has strict rules so you can choose what you like more :)

Really felt like you were a soldier in training against all tests in this mode, kind like a special story mode without presentation; the music elevates the experience and feeling. Although it may seem that most are just parrot tests(trial and error), it's a true testament of skill on beating them on veteran. l love the coop element too
