Baltimore is really missing out not making this into a tourist attraction. It's very noticable from the Key Bridge. Thanks for the video...I always wanted to see more of it!

This is a great video. Thanks for the tour i'm sure the majority of the population has never seen in the inside of ft carroll. Its a shame we let our rich history decay like that.

Thanks so much for posting this. Every time i drive over the key bridge I dream of boating over to it somehow and checking it out. Kayak seems like a good way to go :)

Great job. Glad you completed it safely. I liked your photos too. I flew my drone out there for the first time this week.

Very cool place to explore. Surprised the masonry is still in such good condition.

Definite True Detective (Fort Macomb, AKA "Carcosa") vibes here. Sucks about the bridge collapse.

love this video... very educational if you let the music & video guide you. This Fort has similarities to Fort Delaware Pea Patch island and Fort DuPont in Delaware City, Delaware; in design. Obviously; the sign about dogs keeps honest people out. To get all the video & still shots... did you stay a day or two???
@PatGavinProductions6 жыл бұрын
The dog sign was put there in the 1950s when it possibly did have guard dogs. But they have long been gone. I stayed for maybe 2 or 3 hours.

not to mention it's privetly owned by Benjamin Eisenberg and his 2 brothers Alan and Irvin so not state owned for the state to make any dessions on what to do with it

Nice. If you’re making these for sale, I’d be very interested!

Hows the building in the middle of the island? Is it liveable? Or does it need to be replaced?
@rharmon13826 жыл бұрын
Scott K building is in disrepair, it’s more or less impossible to get to. I was out there earlier this summer. It’s so overgrown you would need a chainsaw or brush ax to reach it.
