I think the partying, drinking etc do not reflect the Indigenous People's culture and their ancestral connection. Celebrating the Indigeous Peoples day instead of Columbus signifies victory and survival for them. Columbus and many Europeans Cortez etc. brought deaths to millions of Indigenous peoples. It is very important that the Government of Guyana secure the Indigenous Peoples' basic rights and that they are included in the development process of their communities. Great Content.
