@@wendellhenry8417 - You made a good point and this would put those who are leaving their trash behind to clean up after, as we all learned this at home. Our Camping ground is spic and span as we burned all the garbage before we leave the spot. This is not our spot as we have our Tent poles dug in permanently, and just have to throw our Tarp (24 x 40 ) over and tie off. We enjoy our spot as we have a small creek nearby throwing fresh black water into the River. This we use to bathe, cook and wash. What more do we need - Life is wonderful as the ARD family says. I am sure you and friends will enjoy your stay in the bush next year. A shot of whisky and a couple of beers with a piece of BAKED Labba.would do the trick. The scenery is great. Get Danny and the two guys from Linden who knows the area well at Ciparuni Landing to take you guys. Don't go to Rockstone. Can't explain why. If you are from the US pay those two guys for their services as we tend to forget about that part.

Denny - I already told you some time ago that when the rain is falling,the fishes come out to play and you catch different types. Now this is the second male/cock I saw you caught. See the hump on its head and I am sure its weighs about seven pounds. You are getting excited again. Once you start pulling them up and they make that splashy sound - it attracts others - its a feeding frenzy for them The Pakaraima Mts Range is where you catch all the Labba.in any lake or creek that passes nearby. Try your luck, you may even see them walking around in the day, once its real hot. These are a bit yellowish with brown spots and a small head with a broad ass. They are different from the River labba and sweeter. That huntsman you have with you should know this. You are really enjoying yourself and I a getting more jealous because I a sitting here and watching you pull them up two by two. You are now the King of catching Peacock Bass like your friends catching Hassar in Florida. Please try catching some Bassah too as they are different from our River and Ocean Croakers. Their mouth is under while others is in front of their jaw. Wishing you more fun times ahead.

I know y’all going to get vex with this one but we need to limit the size and most importantly the quantity that is allowed for a person per a day .
@preacherboss54353 жыл бұрын
Gupta - my friend - there is no limit for a days catch as these are plentiful in the three Rivers. We only catch for fun and the delicious meat. We do not sell but gave away some to the poorer folks. When these fishes become plentiful, they eat each other and pollute the waters in the Lakes and Creeks Its a prize fish and are proud to catch it. i am sure you are not into fishing - get a friend and start doing so, then you will feel the beauty of pulling them in.

Can't understand guyanese only complain about cost of living when they can do so much to be food sufficient. In canada we have to buy a fishing licence and cannot sell fish on the streets.I miss catching black shrimps and swamp fishes growing up on the corentyne
