As always you continue to showcase beautiful Guyana unfortunately you haven’t caught any fishes during your time there. What is needed is for the Guyanese people to understand/ investigate why the fishes are disappearing in this area. Look into the usage of pesticides and insecticides!!!!

ARD thanks for this video. We were at Mainstay Lake a few years ago for our wedding anniversary. Wish we were there yesterday. You don't know how your videos are viewed by many, especially by our children and grandchildren who were born abroad. God bless you. I don't know if auntie is still the cook there. She was the best. Again thanks for being the greatest Tourism Ambassador Guyana ever produced.

Guyana Tourism needs to promote Guyana Tourism throughout the Caribbean. Encourage Caribbean Nations to come and visit our beautiful country.

We are South Americans, we are not an Island
@carolking88352 жыл бұрын
@@marymarg2963 .... Pardon me as I am not Guyanese, however Guyana is part of the British West Indies hence it's part of the Caribbean Union and is a CARICOM Nation.
@marymarg29632 жыл бұрын
@@carolking8835 they say that, but we are South Americans, fir years there has been a debate, please understand this is nothing against our fellow humans from the islands, it befuddled our generation as to why we don't promote us as such, Person from Trinidad is very proud to own their heritage, but some Guyanese want to be everyone, except South American Guyanese, While I am a born Guyanese, we moved away 51 years ago to date, I have never been back, but Denny, Leon and Let's Din It, really show us our beautiful places, some I have never been to, but my dad Bless his soul used to talk to us about. I am not intending to be a rude person, just old School.
@carolking88352 жыл бұрын
@@marymarg2963 .... West Indian history and geography coupled with world history and geography has shown all Caribbean peoples that Guyana is a South American country, but it is also a British West Indian colony being the only English owned and speaking territory in the South American region. Guyana has that distinction. This is an established fact for more than 200 years. Guyana along with about 14-19 other West Indian nations signed the CARICOM treaty agreement of Chaguaramas in 1973 to join together for economic development, trade/commerce and integration in the world market. From slavery with the British colonist to today's modern governments, your country has always been known as the Mainland British West Indies and this is not a modern day story. Central and South America is predominantly Spanish speaking and culture with the exception of Brazil (Portuguese) and Surinam (Dutch) and French Guiana which is part of the European Union. I am basing my knowledge on the historical teachings which I have been taught that your country has been part of the Caribbean Union for centuries especially with regard to trade and development. I can go back to Burnam and Cheedee Jaggan and before those Prime Ministers as our countries has had relationships for longer than you and I have been alive. You mentioned that Trinbagogians are proud of their history and I agree but we all must know and acknowledge history as our base foundation. Fun fact, very old history indicates that T&T was once part of Venezuela but because of volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago our land formation broke off and became separate islands. In 1889 Tobago which was predominantly a French territory for many many years and then became a British colony then was incorporated by the British into the Trinidad colony to become Trinidad and Tobago. We were not always together and in fact at some point in the earlier days in history, Tobago had ties to Grenada via the British crown. I say all of this to say that what we think we see and know, may have more to it than meets the eye. And frankly speaking the Spanish South American countries have all but wiped out the Black and Indo parts out of their country's culture to make it pure Eurocentric. Check Argentina's history and culture.
