Depending on your team, he can keep solid distance from enemies, just watch what you are doing so you don't get hit with long-range attacks (experience from Abyss). I don't see his need for shields as such a big thing as people make it out to be. It definitely didn't stop characters like Hu Tao from being high tier

tip for his playstyle: burst gives 6 droplets, skill gives 3 droplets, use 3 droplets to use charged attack. also charged attack sucks in all the healing orbs. and for ice cube, if you use charged attack then stop holding after a few seconds, it will do a quick blast doesnt require charging up.
