Everything you said is 100% correct! They never forced the kids. It seems like she just doesn't film that much, and that's why the kids aren't seen that much. The kids always act like they like being on.

KZbin already passed a law last year that anytime the parents show their children in the videos the parents is going to have to pay the children compensation for however long they are in the videos even if the child has their own KZbin channel
