QUICK CORRECTION: You do not need to defeat Radahn to access Leyndell, you just need two of the Great Runes, from any of the four major bosses (Godric, Rennala, Mohg, or Radahn)

@@SadoKurosaki to beat rykard you have to do volcano manor quests. For one of them you need to go to mountain tops of giant but you can't access it unless you go to leyndell and kill morgott

For any mage struggling with the archers, use the staff of loss and unseen form spell. They won't be able to see you and it should give you enough time to reach the ladder and take out the 1st archer

Also use assassins approach, as well as night comet. The night comet, paired with the staff of loss is the best in game until the prince of death staff is leveled, and you are at 80 int, and about 60 faith. Then the prince staff is best. That with night comet, and ancient rancor...unstoppable

Listen wolith the archers before u go up the stairs to light the 1st one look at they direction shoot an arrow a lil way off and they will turn to look at where there arrow hit. Then u good

Radahn is optional, Godrick and Renalla have to be defeated. Then defeat the Draconite Tree Sentinel blocking a side entrance north of the main gate.

Nope any great rune can be used instead of renalla to access the city. So redahn, serpent god, or Morg all can be used instead of Renalla. But renalla is the easiest

Dude, just follow the lights through the snowfield, the path is marked. A ghost even says that when you first get to the area. Also for the ward in the evergaol, I went 3, 4, 1, 2. You don't have to deal with the archers till the end, and then only need to fight one of them.

They're surprisingly tough and they hit surprisingly hard for arrows. I thought the big, horned, bull-dudes with the giant magic bows were bad... These northern archers are way worse, plus they just seem to drink up the damage you put on them. My Rivers katana does 602 damage currently, with 25 strength, 28 dex and 71 arcane, and these buttholes still take like 8 hits to kill. I thought archers were supposed to be softer targets for the sake of balance!

It’s one of the games best feature (in my opinion) but it’s also frustrating at times. That’s why I made the “All Quests in Order + Other Missable Content” series. I highly recommend you check it out if you decide to do NG+ or make a new character

If you are very observant, listen carefully what the NPC say, read all the item descriptions and buy all the notes from the vendors, you can piece togerher much of the content, but it's unlikely that you'd find everything even then.

A video showing how to is on you tube somewhere..not sure what it's named ..but for anyone that can't get both halves of the medallion for the haligtree visit ..go to the shack of the lofty..where you will fight an invader if you haven't already..there is a cliff the way the river runs..I did it from about middle way on my horse jumping slightly to the right..just single jump and as soon as the snowfield area name pops up do the second jump..you will die .so I recommend not trying with a lot of runes..if you have done it correctly..the statue of Marika will be an option to start from which is in the snowfield area..and those runes will be lost unless you go back to the grace you started at .I'd either not carry many or go find the grace in front of the village Ordina Liturgical town in this video..then jump back to the previous grace to retrieve them...anyway .hope this helps some..I couldn't get the second half of the medallion..I know it's a cheat..but if it helps..good luck
