Elden Ring: Full Ymir & Jolan Questline - All Choices & Rewards (Shadow Of The Erdtree)

Here is the pinned comment: A lot of people are having issues with Ymir not moving from his throne. Make sure you have done the following: 1. Talk to Ymir after interacting with first Hanging Bell (Rhia) 2. Rest at site of grace, go beneath throne, and instantly fast travel back out (don't move forward) 3. Talk to Ymir again, he should have a little something to say about it. 4. Go to second Hanging Bell and interact with it (Dheo) 5. Talk to Ymir and Jolan through all new dialogue (including asking about the nature of this world), rest at a Site of Grace. 6. Some have said it has to be nighttime. After that, Ymir should move from his chair. If he doesn't then there is some other bug or issue afoot that I do not completely understand. Something else: When Ymir moves from his chair he can be found in the graveyard talking about his mother. I think he leaves a spell behind in the graveyard too. I found another way to get the iris of occultation. You have to kill the big beast thingy in shadow keep after you lower the water.

I'm pretty sure early access to the final area is intended. I went there, fought an npc and was very confused. Went back and rested, Ymir was back and the hole was closed again. When I spoke to Ymir, he acknowledged that I've been there too early, by saying something like "Oh, did you see something you maybe shouldn't have seen? Don't worry, we all make mistakes"

From software always have patches do change the game. I think as a reward of a long quest, this sword will be OP in the future. I love the twin ashes too and i think it is very useful in boss battles, but i love the sword :)

@@jovan9989there’s implications that the shamans (her people) settled there from far away. The word the Japanese version of the game uses for them describes them as spiritual people from far away. So it’s like Chinatown for example and the horn sent hated their guts n put them in jars, but marika became a god to get back at them lol

You can complete Moore's quest pretty early and it's isolated enough that it only really has one interaction with another quest. The stuff you get out of it is super worth it.

If you ring the first and then third bells then go back and talk to Jolan and rest, Ymir will be gone and you can go down the ladder kill her sister. When you return up to the grace and rest, Ymir is back and when talking with him he's like "You see something you shouldn't have... anyways, moving on" LOL

Fantastic guide i had done everything but the spirit combining on day 4 of release but I've taken a fresh character into the dlc this provided the perfect short cut as no way I was remembering everything I did on first play through. 2:40 Re: Sealed Spirit Springs - any time you find a sealed spring where Torrent won’t get boosted, use either of the shackles for Margit or Mohg. The AoE is largest in game and so far always has worked for me.
