Oh Kaveh has a near photographic memory. Its one of the things that makes him a genius on par with Tighnari, Cyno, AND Alhaitham. If Kaveh glances at some anicent writing on a wall, he can go back home, copy the symbols pergectly, and then be able to research them and not miss a single detail. I ship them too, but Kaveh DOES have an impressive memory.

Theres also the part of Alhataitham beeing concearned after hearing Faruzhan say that Kaveh passed out in the Desert. He basically argued with Kaveh because of that, tough that is just mentioned. What was also mentioned was Kaveh ordering extra food to bring home (If you read his thoughts during the dinner with Cyno and Tighnari), and Alhaitham expecting Kaveh to bring home food when you talk to him in the desert.

The fact that Alhaitham actually argues with Kaveh says something- it might seem like more of Alhaitham’s arrogance but literally every other time anyone attempts to get on Alhaitham’s nerves or argue he either gives them the silent treatment, or gives facts to shoot them down- he never entertains their arguments- now with Kaveh he *actually* argues back, he knows he could silence himself to get Kaveh to shut up, or give facts to get him to back down but he never does- Alhaitham actually enjoys arguing with Kaveh and knows when he goes to far or mentions something uncomfortable to Kaveh- it’s kind of ironic because normally arguing is a bad thing but with Alhaitham it’s showing he actually values Kaveh and his opinions

I remember when we first met them and was surprised how Alhaitham stood up to argue back. There are humours in his dialogue, and enjoys ticking Kaveh off. He even wants to reject funding that could have been a good excuse for Kaveh to leave the house. It's like he suddenly became alive and was bored the whole quest planning 😂

He wasn't exactly grumpy. When Faruzan said that Kaveh deserved the points after going such danger (tribulation), look at Alhaitham's eyes carefully. He was checking Kaveh's condition and was clearly worried knowing that Kaveh risked his life again... Which resulted in them arguing when they came back in their home. He totally didn't like the fact that Kaveh still chose to draw lots when he did a lot of effort to get to the goal himself

Alhaitham is just not good at showing concern for Kaveh. He's harsh on Kaveh to make him more pragmatic and therefore make him take care of himself more but it just comes out as nitpicking. Alhaitham complements him for his choice to destroy the diadem but Kaveh views it as an insincere commentator speech. This is actually unexpected because Alhaitham usually critisises Kaveh whenever he makes a decision that's selfless. I guess this action doesn't hurt Kaveh like his usual self destructive nature so Alhaitham has no reason to critisise. It proves that Alhaitham doesn't actually disagree with Kaveh's philosophy for doing good for goodness's sake (doing good without alterior motives), only when ot hurts him. Alhaitham also compliments him at the end for making the right choice - when most people wouldn't - but again Kaveh just thinks Alhaitham is pointlessly arguing. Alhaitham may be smart but he is not good at communicating.

Guys why are y'all shipping these two, they are literally always getting on eachother's case for something. That's not love, that's not what people who should be shipped do. No one's heads are on right here. Bro, you didn't read their character stories or play Kaveh's hangout, I guess?? You won't understand then. The dynamic was supposed to be between two characters who are opposite yet an integral part of each other. Hoyo intentionally released posters with them together and this limited time event being a dedication to these two. VAs also made this clear. Whether you ship them or not that's your opinion but they're friends who care for each other in a unique way, if you exclude the last act of Alhaitham's SQ.
