Love the changes. In fact they seem to better flow with your lore potential. If the bears have the drawback and curse of hibernation.. entering the long sleep.. those who come back can be your librians or dream striders. Your chaplain Corp can be the shamans and weavers who make all the totems and dream catchers to ward off the curse and guide the chapter. My main thought tends towards identifying their main chapter characteristic. They thus far seem like major closer combatants, perhaps further that with specialist units akin to terminators with boarding shield and single claw nicknamed the Ursine Cadre or the Antrum Defensorem. I personally would suggest to keep their curse far from the wolves and have no worgen wolfkin, etc. Maybe early signs be transformative? Fingernails becoming longer and harder, more claw like. Maybe jaw and nose defending to become more snout like. So much potential. Excited to see where you take it.

Their backstory goes thatthe whole chapter got mysteriously wiped out, but later returned like nothing happened when everyone could CLEARLY see something had. Basically they were so stubborn they flat out rejected death and got away with it because it's 40k. Now they're little more than creepy glowy-eyed skeletons in power armor, and yet they still show the same loyalty to the Emperor that they did before. Thoughts?

It's cool to see other cultures being represented but I also think that people need to settle down when it comes to "Oh you used this design from this culture but you HAVE to do it this way now." There's a lot of "cultural appropriation" screaming and various other over sensitivity. People a quick to jump down others throats or claim ill intent. Etc. It's okay to take several different similar cultures and throw them together to make something new/your own. I thought the Nordic version was super cool and fitting given bears and berserkers but it's your chapter and therefore you can do as you like. it turned out great regardless.

My God-Emperor that iron halo/dream catcher was such a good idea, the way it fits the narrative of being a protection from the warp is sooo nice, i think i speak for a lot of people when i say i can BEARLY wait to see him painted in his full Glory, beating fools to death with those Claws

Jazza you bloody legend! I had some of the same concerns of representation and I am so happy that you took those comments seriously, and man it clearly payed off in the creative process. You're an inspiration!
