The mask you are wearing, which appears to be an N95, requires a good seal to be effective. The nose metal piece should be pinched to set tightly along the nose. The straps do not both go over the ear as that will prevent a good seal on the chin. The best way to wear it is with the top strap under the ear and the top strap above the ear. Finally dusk masks require a good seal along the edge. Facial hair prevents this. While the particulate from the resin is rather large, you are not as protected from it as you may think you were.

Loving this series. Thank you SO much for the 'do not try at home' and making it clear you had the safety tools throughout the video. It's so responsible for calling out these things so that when people DO try this at home, they also know they should be thinking about health and safety. You all are the BEST!

if you turned the reaver the other way, the hole would point towards the cliff side, where you could add an extra small tunnel that a unit could use for cover. like maybe the blast that shot through the reaver came from behind

Fun fact about resin safety. It's only extra toxic BEFORE it's fully cured. After it's cured, it's no different than any regular plastic models. That being said, it's clearly a good idea to mask up when grinding anything, but resin is no more or less dangerous than the normal plastic after it's cured.

Thank you so much for addressing safety issues!!! Sometimes I worry about the KZbinrs I love to watch. Another KZbinr (actually a KZbin couple) I love to watch often works with resin, and they address safety issues as wells.

Hey, just a safety tip- not as important with a reciprocating saw- but it still applies- Don't use sturdy gloves with power tools. They won't save your hand, they'll only get caught in addition to cutting you and maybe break bones. Potential for fingers to get pulled into tools. It's recommended to use them without gloves and if you get nicked by them you get cut but no more serious injuries. If you want to keep resin dust off you, use latex gloves. The won't pull fingers into tools if you nick a tool.

I think resin is pretty pliable around 140-160° celcius. I've worked with resin parts in the medical industry for some years now. If I have to adjust a part I just use a heat gun set to 200° and wing it. But as I said, arounf 140-160 and you should be golden! Much easier than hairdryers lol.

Soldering iron works wonders m8, I did it on a busted rhino I bought for terrain and it made a “bead” around the hole and looked proper melty. I’m not sure if resin would give you the same thing, but worth a shot.

If you guys need to bend big pieces of resin again, maybe a few (or many) minutes bath in a pot of boiling water on the stove? Really soak the piece to heat it up through. The final result is truly awesome. For the knee pad with the writing upside down, put some more candles on it etc... Maybe someone wrote the text after the battle and made a small shrine with it.

Awesome! Honestly shocked that fire didn't work. It's usually the answer to everything. Like seriously, it solved all my problems. A good example is that time I had a dispute with a Zerg player in Starcraft 2. I mean sure he didn't exactly like that I burned his beloved Zergling plush and melted his Hydralisk statue with a blow torch, but I got my revenge and only had to spend about week and a half in prison. It was worth it. (I'm joking of course, I don't even own a blow torch)
