How to Use Padlock Shims to Bypass a Lock

Padlock shims are designed for use on padlocks with spring-assisted latches. Locks with looser tolerances offer the best chance for shimming, as the thin section of the tool can fit between the lock housing and the locking-dog shackle cut out (latch).
To answer the questions that many of you will have, yes, these shims will work on a single or dual locking-dog padlock; whether it's keyed or combination.
