Jeez, someone correct me if I’m wrong but Katie hs only been doing pole vault for about a year right? And she’s already at 11”1!? I bet she can go 12 or 13 her senior year! I know it takes people the full 4 years to vault 11, and Katie managed to do it in such a short time! She can definitely go to a D1 college for pole vault, if she wants to pursue her track career further!! Good luck Katie!!

I think the way sports differ from each state is crazy because there is just way more pole vault clubs in texas so more people have done it longer cause what won our state meet was like 14’6 but for her to be going 11 for only doing it for 1 year is amazing.

Watching Katie when she was 9 years old, I believe, doing gymnastics, along with Annie. I knew Katie had it in her, to make it to the Olympics one day, if she ever chose to keep going. Annie, not so much. So of course Katie can excel at anything, because she is a true athelete. So awesome job, Katie. I hope to see Ryan playing professional golf one day.
