I teared up seeing Katie in her mom’s dress, she looked absolutely beautiful!Seeing Jill in the dress, it was like a time machine to 1997, I could imagine being at her wedding. Beautiful, Jill! My mom had her wedding dress turned in to a Baptism gown for all her children to wear... and now all her Grandchildren have worn it since, it's such a lovely heirloom to pass Down and still in lovely condition 🤍

Totally off topic BUT living in Florida I am blown away that y’all can store the photos in your shed in Maryland and they’re so perfect still! I’ve always been so careful with storing precious things in the house instead of the garage or shed between worrying for the humidity, the heat and the possible hurricanes 😂

We had a similar dress. I got married in 2000 and my dress has the same detail in the bottom. I wish I had a daughter that could try it on. But I’m grateful for my two boys. I love this, I got married in 99 but we had already been together for 10 years. We only had 24 close family and friends at our wedding. It was perfect. We planned it in only 6 weeks. So much fun and no stress.

Happy Anniversary!! I’ve been married for 21 years this October. I still have my dress in the bag in my closet. It’s been there the whole time. It rained on our wedding day, but we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Luckily it was in a church and then a hotel ballroom. Katie you looked fabulous in your mom’s dress. It fit you perfectly. That picture of Mike looked exactly like Brennen with Ryan’s hair. Perfect!

Oh my gosh this takes me down my memory lane! Back in '87 I was planning my wedding & I tried on my mother's dress. It was the right style I was looking for and it fit! Unfortunately the lace had yellowed so I didn't wear it. I bought my own beautiful dress I absolutely loved it. I didn't have someone to pass it down to, so I donated it to charity. We got married 27 years ago in October. My dress is very similar to yours along with the same wedding style album😂. I let my daughters ( many, many years later) play dress up with my wedding vail, so that eventually it just got thrown away. Fun vlog, thanks for sharing. Happy anniversary!

My husband and I have been married 13 years. I still have my wedding dress. I wasn’t a fan of it. I had to order it online and I cried when I got it in the mail because it wasn’t at all what I thought it would be. The alterations were twice the cost of my dress as well. So on our 11 year anniversary my husband gifted me a vow renewal and I was able to get a dress that I loved. Which that dress is sealed and protected in a box. Happy 26th wedding anniversary!

there’s so much proof. he unfollowed her on insta, they both took pics of each other down, in a tik tok that she made a few weeks ago with her friend one of the questions she asked her friend was “how long was my last relationship?” which is a huge sign because he was her only bf, and now in this vlog she was wondering who was gonna be the one marrying her. if they were still together she would’ve said Caden but she didn’t. they don’t even mention his name anymore. that vlog that you mentioned was from awhile ago, things obviously change. they’re probably trying to get the point across without revealing too much

Love your wedding dress...gorgeous! It's so neat it fit Katie. You both look beautiful in it. It would be great if she decided to wear it at her wedding. I had a friend who wore her mother's dress. Mom was a seamstress and made my wedding dress and veil. It's very sentimental and special. I had a summer wedding, and my main colors were light blue and yellow. Mom even dyed the rice to match. Happy anniversary 🎉 I’m not married, I’m 23 but I did watch my older sister (29) get married last year. She didn’t do the “traditional” white dress. Her’s was black and us bridesmaids wore maroon. I think the night of my big sister’s wedding was the most I’ve ever danced before as I’m a very shy person and don’t ever dance 😂.

We had a mega budget mega and spent all together between the dress, thx rental, shoes, food, photography ALL OF IT about $2,500. Most people, I’ve found, want a wedding more than a marriage and after dating since we were 14, us being 21 at the time, we’re just so excited and ready to get married! In AL, you have to go about Aquino g your marriage license the same way so we just wanted something simple with the people we love most. I’ve told everyone I know who want something bigger to keep it small and put your money into a big reception instead of a ceremony! It doesn’t make your day any less special and that way you can enjoy more on your honeymoon! I’m still being told today almost two years later how gorgeous our ceremony and reception were so that goes to show you that you can still keep the beauty in simplicity!

I’m 34 and I’ve been married for six years. Every anniversary since I’ve gotten married, I have put on my wedding dress and done a photo shoot. Nothing professional. Just photos of me on my camera in the dress wherever. One year I wore it outside in front of our garden. One year we were at the lake on our anniversary so I brought it and took photos in it there. One year in a hotel room. One year just sitting on our couch with our cat. Honestly every year is different and that’s what makes the photos so fun. I spent too much money on this dress to do nothing with it after my wedding day so this as been a fun tradition I do every year. I don’t put any pressure on myself about the photos or fitting in the dress. Wherever I am in life or whatever I’m doing that year I just put it on at some point and get some photos somewhere. So far it still fits perfectly but that may not always be the case and that’s ok. The real question is how long should I keep going? 😂
