Well done on your new pb. I do feel that you need to go to a full sized dam such as harties and make a video there. I would like to see what combinations and rigs can be used there.

Why do they have to pour you water when you catch a fish....i am a newbie
@ItsTippToppFishing3 жыл бұрын
The water pouring serves a few functions. 1: helps keep the fish temperature the same as the water 2: protects the fishes slime layer from drying out 3: washes off any degree on the fish like weed from the net 4: any little bit over the gills helps the fish not suffocating so quickly.

@@ItsTippToppFishing thanks but why do anglers pour water on each other when they catch a fish.
@ItsTippToppFishing3 жыл бұрын
@@arnoldtinashenota6562 the pouring on a person is a silly tradition that anglers do when someone has caught a new personal best fish. So say you catch a 10kg which is your biggest fish yet, then it means that your friends throw a bucket of water over you to "Celebrate" your accomplishment.

I dont want to be a hater but fishing in such small ponds seems too easy and i want to challange you by asking you to go fishing in a large stretch of water. Such as bloemhofdam or the vaalrivier
@ItsTippToppFishing3 жыл бұрын
I'm heading to a big stretch of water this month:-) Have you fished bergsig before?
@waldemarbodenstein71262 жыл бұрын
I'm obviously late to the video here, but Schalk I'd also like to challenge you to actually fish Bergsig before passing on judgement. Yes it's a small venue, but the water is mostly clear, the fish have become accustomed to every tactic there is and are not easy to catch. A venue such as Bloemhof and the Vaal river system have tens of thousands of carp in them, so it really isn't all that difficult to catch a few either. Both options have challenges unique to each of them.
