I really feel for Dr. Sturgis in these episodes as somebody who has experienced mental health difficulties and felt the effects it can have on interpersonal relationships after a crisis. I think it's part of what makes this show so good, even though its a sitcom the characters are grounded in Real emotions and experiences. I'm so excited for you to keep watching Cody, the plots of the most recent season are amazing and it will be exciting to see your reaction!

I'm loving these Young Sheldon reactions! By the way, the coach in the last episode is the same actor who played Mr. Incredible in The Incredibles! Also, the actor of John Sturgis is the same actor who played Mr. Incredible's boss in the first movie that got thrown through a bunch of walls!

31:00 same here, especially after an incident at work June of ‘22…I used to work as a tow truck driver, waiting to make a turn, a bus came the other way, and it’s passing obscured the view of the pedestrian who jaywalked against the signal…had no chance of knowing they were there until after impact. Police reviewed the dash cam and found that not only was I cleared of any wrong doing, their investigation also found the person had a history of attempting ‘self ending’… …go figure, wether your fault or not, ending someone’s life leaves a mark… It’s just another reason I subbed back when you started TBBT, your perspective and commentary resonated, and I will be along for the ride as long as it lasts :)

The actor that plays the baseball coach voices Mr incredible from The Incredibles 1 & 2 and Wallace Shawn who plays Dr sturgis is also in the first film and he voices his boss

That actor is Craig T. Nelson and he was a big TV star in the late 80s and 90s on his show called Coach. It also starred Shelly Fabares (wife of M.A.S.H. star Mike Farrell) and Jerry Van Dyke, brother of comedy legend Dick Van Dyke. It was a great show.
