BehanFanTV Villa has scored the most goals ever for the Spanish national team. He scored almost for Spain every goal when they won the World Cup. Iniesta was the only other person who scored more than ONE goal and even he only scored 2. These 2 feats alone are more than anything Raul has done for Spain. Villa will always be the Greatest Player in Spain's history! No disrespect to any of the other legends on the team because I respect them all!! (Casillas, Xavi, Puyol, Iniesta, Ramos, Alonso etc) Del Bosque should've started Villa in all three games for Brazil instead of Costa, he wouldve actually helped Spain win!!Villa was obviously in better form and played the entire champions league final whereas costa didn't! Plus Villa is actually from Spain costa is not!! It would've been good to if Del Bosque would've let Villa be captain and played the full 90 mins in his farewell game!!

Villa was the reason why we rose to fame, he's the best striker I'd ever seen play at Spain's formation, Diego Costa wasn't able to adapt (hopefully he will), Torres always screwed it up, And I really hope that Alcácer (Valencia CF) will be able to fill that void, in case some of you hadn't noticed, when Villa played against Australia, the chance he got to score he took it and scored, he's always been able to do that when he was at full form, he had recovered completely with one season at Atelico de Madrid, and I don't know why Del Bosque started with him, because Costa just came out of an injury. Personally if I was Del Bosque, I would've taken out Villa first cos he never let Spain down, the first important games Costa played with Spain he fucked up, point being, Villa was never given the chance to show his true potential, it started with Barcelona, after his injury, the coach noticed that Messi and Villa weren't getting along so he favored Messi, since he was "better", but Villa was more of a team player than Messi is or ever will be, if Villa didn't have a good position to score, his reflex was always to pass, Messi however; always decided to do his cocky dribbling. I am really gonna miss Villa. He never led us astray #VCFfan #Villaismyidol

David Villa was and still is a top, top player....I remember seeing him play and everything was so effortless for him. He just used to glide around the pitch and made everything look so easy. Combine this a huge amount of style and charisma and you have a top, top player. I remember his last game for Spain when that big nosed, ugly manager took him off and Villa started crying...the manager showed no sympathy...I felt very sad for him as in that game Villa was by far the best player on the pitch...He should not have gone to the MLS so young....wasted talent. He is undoubtedly one of the best ever!

Villa was the best striker I've ever seen. He scored 59 goals with our national team, being very important in Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010. Since 2011, Spain hasn't had a good striker so it will be a problem in the next World Cup in Russia.

DV7 may is as good as CR7 or Messi or other footballers (idk about football skills n tricks). But in my opinion he is the smartest player, he always played the crucial role for every matches he was in, e.g WC 2014 Spain vs Australia. He never let spain down, he makes at least one goal when is needed. I think this is what made him being a Spain Legend. I'm still sad bcoz he didn't get what he actually deserves, he was so underrated even during his peak. Illa Villa Maravilla, El Guaje. One n only my fav footballer
