For "Those that Dream" it follows the story of the French egg, Pomme's, lore. For the longest time (up until the end of Purgatory and the eggs return where they were all healed) Pomme was the only egg to still have two lives (the second to last being Dapper, who was killed directly by the code monster the day Pomme arrived). Because of this, she was consistently the most threatened by the code entity and even had a "nightmare" of it killing her (a reverted death due to the death being caused by a unfair/stupidly broken weapon that could only be obtained through creative mode) . She also has a lot of trauma with explosives due to ElQuackity blowing up the "Wilbur's party" event after the first debate night during the election arc. This combined with the constant threat of the codes and pressure of being the only egg with two lives led her to have a lot of innsomnia and sleepless nights. She would spend a lot of late nights with Bad, Dapper and Richas, the eggs who eventually became known as the Late Night Trio. The song used actually focuses on Pomme's innosmnia and how she doesn't sleep and the video details a lot of the things I talked about above (and things i didn't). Also, ironically/fun fact, the artist who sings the song used in the video is actually named Pomme!

Qsmp is in many ways less linear than the dsmp was. Everyone has their own stories going on simultaneously and then cross over occasionally, so it's really hard to explain or keep track of. I've been mostly following Phil. For the purgatory stuff, you have to remember that the eggs all went missing for like months and then they all were taken to purgatory and told to get their eggs back they had to play the watcher's sick games. In the period when the eggs were missing, all the parents did everything they could to try and find them and get them back. Philza and Fit and Tubbo put a lava cast over the federation presidential building and philza left a message saying "a cage for a cage". A little while later, he found a message in his home with coordinates suggesting his kids were there, but when he got there he found a giant birdhouse and a book quoting his "cage for a cage" comment, and got locked inside by cucurucho. But after he woke up in his basement and it seemed to have all been a hallucination or dream, but he did have a couple of items he didn't have before. So yeah, Philza spent some time unsure what was real. Aaaand there's more but this comment is already really long 😅😂

you don't need to fully understand the story of the animatics when you watch them, it's just about enjoying the art and the talent of the people!! animatics can make you feel things without you needing to understand everything also the song lyrics aren't the things you need to focus on, the story is in the art

This animatic shows most of her story as I understand it. She has had an interesting but angsty life till now. 11:59 In purgatory, 3 teams were made. Etoiles, tubbo and Phil were the leaders of these 3 teams 12:59 Yes, tfhat's the code affecting Etoiles. You can also see it on Slimecicle in other scenes. So if you hang out around codes a lot, they start to corrupt you. 15:53 El backflippo is Slimecicle. To my knowledge, Slime was called El Backflippo because when they were introducing themselves on day 1, Slimecicle found the emotes and introduced himself as "El Backflippo!!!!' while doing a backflip. The crowd went wild and he was called that for a while.

I love that youre reacting to animatics made from qsmp! But it isnt suprising that youre not gonna understand even half whats happening because qsmp’s storytelling is VERY difficult to summarise. Yes there is the overall story going on but whats so special about Qsmp is how almost EVERY member and character has their own story and lore. For example the second one you watched follows the egg Pomme. She has her own stuff going on that many people miss if they dont watch her parents POVs and such :) just letting ya know!

At the start of the first animation the name and order of the eggs are Leo, chayyan, Tallulah, richas , Dapper, Pomme and Ramon and yes the smiley bear is who u thought he was .

Hello! One thing I've always super admired about your channel was how willing you were to check out any recommended content regardless of whether you knew anything about where it came from. 1 animatic just adsf as qsmp its just for the funnys 2 - those who dream the French egg(pomme) lost a life but it got returned so she has 2 lives and she was the one in hospital 3- breath of life just covering some lore 4- just the qsmp women there and random moments

9:24 Yeah that was Q!Bad, the blue stuff on him happened a bit before purgatory when the eggs wet missing, he had started hurting himself by letting soul vultures attack him giving him some sort of weird soul corruption which resulted in him slowly turning blue as a side effect
