Yes! I agree... 🥰 It's surreal remembering back to when Carrie was sat on her bed at her parents, part of Les Mis... An now after all this time (I promise I'm in my mid twenties, so don't bite my head off for saying that 😋) These show-verviews really hit me in the feels 🥰

I distinctly remember when you were in Chitty, and you made a video where you said “if you have the time, and you have the money, you NEED to come see this show”. I realized that I could make it happen, and that is the whole reason I travelled outside of the US for the first time

When I heard, "but more on that next time... thanks for watching". I was like no. No. No, no, no. Carry on. Carry on. Why are you stopping? I want to hear the next bit. Totally enthralled. Could've listened to those stories for hours. And I will, when the show-verview playlist is complete! It's easy to see why you're such a good writer. You tell a story so captivatingly Xx

I love these reveal all episodes as it reminds me of my 14 years in musical theatre. I'm sure every actor could fill at least 5 books with stories abot their time on and off stage. My best story would be from doing Sound of Music where Maria and one of the kids were meant to be on stage together with a fairly large scene but Maria didn't turn up as she had got ready into her Act 2 costume. This left "Brigitta" on stage alone for what seemed like an age before one of the other cast wanders on and strikes up the same conversation that Maria was mean to have.

My parents took me to see Chitty in MK! It was the perfect show to see as I was such a massive fan at the time (as in, still love you now but I was a crazy 15 year old then haha) but also Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was the movie that I watched pretty much every day as a small child so my parents were excited to take me. I remember genuinely being in awe of your voice, especially in Lovely Lonely Man, and also thinking that Scott stole the show - without knowing who he was at the time of course! (I've always had a soft spot for comedic characters). Also, I still have my copy of All I Know Now that you signed at stage door - thank you so much for taking your time to come out and say hello!

My god what a throwback, I remember seeing you cut your hair for Truly and it was An Event ™️ (I’ve been here for a while….) That photobomb of little John McCrea is PRICELESS. Took me ages to find out he was Fergus in the Catherine Tate Show as well.

I met you when you came to Cardiff in 2016 with chitty and it was the first time I’d ever waited at stage door - I haven’t done it since either. My family and I had been going through the mill - husband and I had been trying for our first baby for a while to no avail (all good have a 4 and 2 year old now) and at the time your book OTOS and chitty vlogs just gave me sparks of happiness - meeting you was just cherry on the cake that year. Love ya fletch.

It's so refreshing to hear stories of forgetting lines. I've considered leaving my dream behind because the pressure and the fear of forgetting lines has grown so big after not having done much performing lately. And I've never really forgotten anything, but that feeling of not knowing if you'll remember the line is just the worst feeling. So knowing that big actors do the same, but you just sort of keep going, knowing it's not gonna happen at every line (which it won't let's be real) is just so good to know.

'I Know I Have A Heart' is one of my favourite songs right now and i will genuinely never forget being only a few rows back, and being able to see you sing it so beautifully. i had chills, it was just an amazing experience, thank you so much! you had a show in wimbledon where i think jack howard and a few other friends of yours showed up, that same show was my first ever time seeing a live musical. i travelled from argentina (lat america) to see chitty cause of you and because it was my grandfathers's favorite musical. i was having my first nando's when u walked down the street to go into the theatre and i remember i got so shy but my mother urged me to say hi and we took a picture together. i was 14 and i look very dorky but that whole day was so frigging special to me.

Your last story reminds me of goof up in a production of Cinderella I was in. It was a bizarrely hilarious adaption with tons of extra characters. Like six step sisters, six heralds, three fairy godmothers and 3 “goddesses” played by little girls. Anyway, after Cinderella runs off into the audience, she loses her shoe on the stairs. A scene or two later, the prince is supposed to pick up the shoe and has a conversation on the stairs with all his heralds. For one of the performances however, one of the heralds, for some reason, grabbed up the shoe and was holding it. The prince couldn’t find the shoe on the stairs and just ended up miming the entire scene with no shoe. It wasn’t until the end of the scene that the mortified herald presented the shoe, and the actor playing the prince just burst out laughing and went down the steps to retrieve it. The audience laughed and clapped. It was great. It was the performance that was recorded too 😆

My school did les mis and we had moveable things for the barricade which where one each side of the stage and moved together. Each end could be used as sit during lovely lady ect. Every performance there was a big gap behind one of them so the cart would fit through so it could crash, except the one night we filmed the play where the cart got caught on the set and the guy who was meant to Get run over stood there for a second then fell over for no reason, John Val John I think ended up lifting a cart which was on the other side of the stage than it was meant to be. I still have the video.
