Bloodywood is the real deal. They are the one of the few bands who actually care about the ills of our current society.

@It's Your Girl: After hearing Jee Veerey, now you need to hear Aaj! Seriously. If Jee Veerey makes you want to get up off the ground after depression and suicidal tendencies kicks your ass, Aaj will make you want to _fly!_ But seriously though...this song saved my life about 2½ years ago. I've suffered depression a lot in the last 20 years, and several times, even flirted with ending it all. The last time, I thought about it heavily...until I heard this song. Seriously, this song broke whatever dams were holding back all of the pent-up rage, anger, grief, and sadness I had accumulated since my grandmother died in 1998. Add in other failures in my life, plus my ex-fianceé nearly destroying me with a false domestic violence charge and PPO. My life was on the rocks. I saw nothing to live for and had abso-bloody-lutely nothing to fight for. And then I hear this song. I'm not going to lie and say everything became better overnight. It did not. Hell, I still have days and even weeks of depression at times. But Bloodywood has made the fights, the battles, I face so much easier. Which is why I now make it my mission in life, convincing others to live -- because everybody needs an encouraging word from time to time. Nobody is superhuman. Men or women, we all deal with the same types of stuff. This is my message: To whoever you are, whoever may read this, know that you are not alone. You do not fight alone. Though it may seem as if you are alone in the dark, struggling against the demons that threaten to win against you and beat you, you are not alone. You never have been, and never were. And even when it seem as if you've been knocked into the dirt, and kicked while you're down, think of this: "When you can't run, you walk. When you can't walk, you crawl. When you can't crawl...when you can't do that...you find someone to carry you." ~ Firefly Ep. 11, "The Message" And I'm here to tell you, dear reader, that even if my words are the only ones you read, I am with you. I will not abandon you. I will not forsake you in what you face. Because ending it all, and taking that long walk into the eternal darkness, is not the answer. No permanent solution for a temporary problem, ever is. When you find yourself drowning in that blackened, darkened rising, hold on to your humanity, and fight. Do not go quietly into the night, dear one, because should you choose that fate, you will never see how beautiful and amazing this life is. How beautiful and amazing life can be. Because it is a truth known the world over: As storms break and the sun emerges, so too shall your storm pass. You just have to be willing to endure. To fight. To give yourself one last chance by defiantly refusing to give up. You have the strength to stand against the darkness within your own mind. You have the courage. You simply have to use it. So use it, dear one! Take my words, let them reverberate within your very being! Leave the Valley of Death, head held high, knowing you got back up, because you're still alive! You have a well of strength within you that you will never know, unless you give your life every opportunity to flourish -- because only by being passed through the trials by fire you face, can you be purified and made stronger. Stronger than any steel, more valuable than any gold or silver. For it is your mind, your will, that will become strong. And no weapon can defeat the man or woman who, in an act of defiance, chooses to keep fighting. To never give up, to never surrender. Because, dear one, I know your struggle. If these things were not true, I would not tell you. You have what it takes to win. And you will win, as long as you choose to fight. And when you choose to fight, you will already have won. I hope my words find you well, dear one. Be well, and be safe. And even if we never meet in this life...know that I love you.

You’re absolutely right, we do need more people like this. But the beautiful thing is that just a few people showing the way can make a difference. From what I understand, after this came out people kept contributing more sessions, ending up with something like 600 given 🤗

"FIRSE UDEGA YAARA" - Fly once again ... i am longing for those dreams i had as a child... in them i was so aware of it that i only had to flap my arms like wings and run forward on the field of gras under my feet and i would lift off from the ground and i flew in the sky like a bird. I had this dream many many nights

I'm so glad Bloodywood are slowly but surely getting more and more traction all over. I've been a fan since their metal cover days, before Jee Veerey, before Raoul, and always thought they would go far. But when this song dropped and Raoul added his second voice to the mix I knew that if there is justice in the world the boys would make it. I cheered so much while watchin their tour documentary Raj Against The Machine and I'm always happy to see another reactor picking up on them.

This song resonates with me since I deal with depression and anxiety. It screams to the viewer that "Your hurt and you're down, but you're strong, now stand up and show them(the negative emotions) why you're better and above them!" Mental illness gets so severely underestimated for what it does to a person.

It was hell. It had been so tough. But I always thought it was just a phase and I was being tough on myself, and that I just needed to be strong, I felt I was just weak. But after years I went to a psychiatrist for my ADHD and he diagnosed that I was depressed. Suddenly so so so many things started to make sense and so many experiences fell into place. Trust me, most of the people who go through hell dont know they're depressed.

It's wonderful that you have such a compassionate heart for those struggling with depression, even though it is not something you suffer from. I feel like some people who haven't experienced depression are so quick to dismiss the experiences of other - so thank you for being a person who recognizes that the condition is real. 👍

Would you be angry if I said that you have a cute nose? Today we are instructed to compartmentalize our lives. Tomorrow...? I meant that. You have a really cute nose. I never got the memo on boundaries. Be a good neighbor and tell me if I am wrong. My daughter would be heartbroken to find that I disrespect women.
