On the program page you’ll find application instructions and checklist so that you can start to prepare for these materials. I'm in my 3rd year at UBC, and I love it, even after the stress of adjusting for COVID. I know that macaroon place, and I love it, but they are soooo expensive. I even asked for them for my birthday. hey it's ryan it can take a while to hear back from UBC they like to take their sweet time. I found out last year on vacation not till the very end of April 2019 which is really normal and earlier than many other people I know. I took a gap year and many of my friends didn’t hear back from UBC until May 2018. Don’t stress too much and best of luck!

Omg haha thank youu❤️ My dorm is called the nano suite ($701/month) and it is located in Exchange Residence (an upper year residence). As a first year, you won't be able to get this room type unfortunately, BUT apply for it asap so you can be waitlisted :) In terms of meals plans - in first year, the residence options are totem park, orchard commons, and place vanier and meal plans are mandatory for all 3! Your first year residence will only offer you a contract from Sep-April so you will have to move out and find another place after first year! In order to get the upper year residences, you have to apply for them (there are a bunch of residences and room types) and these don't come with a mandatory meal plan! That's also why I had to learn to cook after my first year haha! Hope this helps and dm me if you have any more questions @yvonnooo on insta! I'd love to help you out cuz I was super confused going into my first year as well:)

And living on residence in first year made it SO much easier to make friends!☺️

Leena I personally really like them and find them comfy! I wear them also everyday cuz they’re light & waterproof (still getting used to that magic) but if you’re someone who needs a lot of arch support, the experience might differ! I can only say from my experience that it’s only been positive!☺️
