Mashallah, good to put 👏 things into perspective. It should be phased out gradually. Both options should be available to all potential drivers. Suppose, if a young BRITISH driver 🤔 ONLY learns driving 🚗 on an automatic car and when has to drive a manual car abroad... what will he do? I still remember our driving instructor telling us to learn on a manual bus 🚌 so that we would be able to drive ALL CATEGORIES OF BUS. It is still applicable to manual cars today.

Agreed we need to keep teaching manual cars as long as they are being produced. However the future is electrical cars as long as we get a good infrastructure to support charging.

Manual all the way for me ! Will switch when im forced too! Agree with you Sobya we need a good range on cars and need better infustructure to support charging!

I agree,One should have the ability to know both manual and automatic driving so they don't struggle if either one is not available.

I also agree, one should know how to drive manual as after this driving auto transmission will be no problem, but if a driver learns only auto transmission driven car he/she will be left clueless if given a manual one.

Yes, the fact of the matter is the rest of the world is yet to catch up! It wil take alot longer for the developing countries to create a electric car infustructure to support this revolution.

I agree. I have driven electric car and they're not ideal for long journeys.

Depends on the EV. A Tesla it is a piece of cake.

@@daydreamer8373 Not aware of this model. How long does it take to charge and how many miles does the charge last?
@daydreamer83732 жыл бұрын
@@abual-arqam5353 I'm not sure how you cannot of heard of Tesla. They started the EV revolution. The Model 3 has a range of around 300 miles. can add 100 miles in ten mins. and has it's own dedicated charging network. It doesn't get much simpler to own an EV.
@abual-arqam53532 жыл бұрын
@@daydreamer8373 I never said that I haven't heard of Tesla or Elon Musk. I only ask about the model you discussed. How long does it take to charge around 300 miles? Is it quicker than going to the petrol station? Is the network as large as the petrol station around the country or the world? I do think that the electric car are perhaps the future. But there are still many issues to be resolved like this.
@daydreamer83732 жыл бұрын
@@abual-arqam5353 Honestly if you have a Tesla, it is as I said a piece of cake. You charge in seconds, as you plug in and go to bed. Far more convenient. As for longer trips, it's a simple matter to charge around breaks. and the car will charge to around 80% in around 20 mins.
@Khiswah2 жыл бұрын
Electric cars have along way to go before they can really match the manual and automatic cars, they are not cost effective, reliable for long journeys and higher in pollution due to the electricity. Time will tell.
@daydreamer83732 жыл бұрын
They are not higher in pollution. That is the whole point of the switch to electric.
