It's weird to think that the lottery result once warranted a news bulletin. I can't remember when ITV stopped doing it, but I'd be surprised if it continued until the end of the decade. Raise The Roof was an okay-ish gameshow, but not nearly enough to warrant the hype. Take away the novelty of having such a huge prize, it was only of lower league daytime TV quality.
