Was at the Norwich v Liverpool game, Peter Beardsley's cross definitely hadn't gone out of play, I stood at the front of the Riverend, right in front of it, so Liverpool's goal should have stood. Also had been to the away game at Spurs the Sunday before, how we lost 4 -0 to Spurs I don't know. Lineker got a hatrick that day.

Don't mention the forthcoming Littlewoods cup semi final first leg. As a West Ham fan it is a night we'd rather forget on Oldhams plastic pitch humbled 6-0.

Seeing Chelsea v Spurs result was last time Spurs beat Chelsea at the Bridge. Then had to wait until November 2006 in league as, Chelsea started to dominate that fixture.

@rablett57 Yes that I remember should have mentioned. I was just pointing out that had to wait until November 2006 to beat in league again that was at White Hart Lane. Oh and 2002 in 2nd leg semi final 5-1 after 2-1 1st leg defeat. And I don't support either team but remember this how Chelsea dominated even though Spurs had a better team then until mid 90s. Chelsea fans used to call the ground Three Point Lane

@@rajnirvan3336 yes mate our record against Chelsea even before the abramovich years was pretty embarrassing to say the least 🙄, but spurs are masters of embarrassing their supporters as we've recently seen 😆
